Was at the match today. Most enjoyable game. Draw would have been fair result. Real Kerry Fan (None) - Posts: 2957 - 18/10/2009 20:37:50 458058 Link 0 |
tomaoo7 County: Dublin Posts: 4620 Honestly don't know but i was fairly impressed with them yesterday. Their full forward line would keep most defences in the country busy. Was also impressed with the work of the two midfielders. Two genuine big lads who would put their head where most wouldn't put their boot. That was a tough hurdle for them yesterday with all the chat about getting the match put off getting in the way along with the fact they were playing a good side, but i think they will get stronger now with a rest. Listening to the other guys on here it seems they have an easier path in Leinster than some of the other strong County champions but i don't know about that. This may be sour grapes or it may be the truth. Either way it will from what i have seen it will take a decent outfit to beat them. Saw Gilroy in the crowd. Do you think the number 15 has given himself a shot at the County? Quality footballer with 2 good feet. kingpuck71 (Derry) - Posts: 691 - 19/10/2009 09:56:34 458425 Link 0 |

To all in Ballyboden.... keep er lit. Were you at the match Toma007? Everyone still fit and well? This Portlaoise team look they may take a bit of stopping. Are Boden capable of it? Hope so. I have my pride to keep in tact on here, now i am the founder and looks like sole member of the Nordies St.Enda's supporters club. kingpuck71 (Derry) - Posts: 691 - 08/11/2009 22:35:22 479009 Link 0 |

On the note of the match today i echo the sentiment about Dessie Dolan. What an inspirational performance and majestic point just after half-time. What a lift to the whole team that score must have been. Congrats to Garrycastle and comiserations to Ballyboden. On the day beaten by a better team, but defeat makes you stronger ( so our boys are told.....most weeks ) kingpuck71 (Derry) - Posts: 691 - 22/11/2009 21:49:42 491261 Link 0 |
