Very silly thread to start thinking this team can be the next cross just because there in a dublin county final .

And fair do's. Everyone's entitled to it. But do you think any team will dominate provincial Senior football like Crossmaglen or is it an impossibility their dominance will ever be repeated. The only name that springs to mind in Derry is Ballinderry, but i believe their Senior team of the last 10 years is as good as it may get. I may be wrong ( and i often am breffni ) but apart from them i don't believe any team in the County has the structures in place to dominate for a long period of time.

Are there any teams in the Country with this structure to make all ireland club dominance a possibility?

dublin club football has to be one if not the best in ireland with the last 2 AI winning clubs coming dublin as for ballyboden a great club with great underage structures in all codes that has now progressed that they are challenging to win dublin titles leinster and AI TITLES IN ALL CODES , as for cross i wonder could cross challenge ballyboden in all codes

Interesting thread for a Derryman but you must have known you were going to be shot down starting a Dublin thread......... You have attracted some of the biggest Anti-dublin brigade to this thread.............My answer No

This was not a attack on you but you cant compare they 2 to be honest and i knew crokes would fall of the cart like the other dublin club the year before as they bought success bringing players in from other countys and i believe they should not be allowed to do that as a club are a club with out having county players from other counties cross never done that but what would you expect from dublin club football and top teams in meath are doing the same .

Sorry boss, thought you meant judes. Boden, Judes and faughs must be the 3 closest clubs in the country, less than half a mile between them.

Just on that note Rossa, St Pauls and Sarsfields in Belfast have to be the closest clubs to each other in the country, they are literally side by side. Rossa and St Pauls side by side and Sarsfields at the top end of each. You would swear it was one club with 3 pitches.

As an all round club the bucks of 'Boden are the best in the country bar none!

Crossmaglen while excellent footballers dont even come close!

'Boden are just as likely this year to win the county hurling senior yet AGAIN!

Their ladies seniors are gladiators on the county and all-Ireland stage too!

Basically all round there is not a club in the country that touches the class of 'Boden when it comes to covering "ALL CODES" at the highest level!

Are you seriously suggesting that if a player ends up living in dublin he should not be allowed play for a dublin club.

Dellboy, All ye want is a gripe at Dublin just because we have a few hybrids on our club teams! Vincents and Crokes had two country lads playing in their finals but I see you fail to mention that Portumna hurlers had two Tipp lads on their winning teams! Touché! Further proof that the mullahs and nordies only select what they want when it comes to talking about Dublin football! Always remember that ol Snuffy will always be here as Dublins stoutest defender and I give mad mullahs and nordies short shrift and 'pure truth' about their own sorry county when they need it!......and it aint ever pretty! Ballyboden = Masters of all Codes!! Ask Crossmaglen 'one code wonders' to field a team of hurlers and ladies footballers and camogie against them!! Regards, Snufalufagus....Laochra Gael

Send them up to Cross to play a "friendly" and see how they get on ! The Mc Entees would come back out of retirement for that one.
