Jofus against buuren he scored 6 points and set everything up for kilcoo he is kilcoo playmaker you don't need to score to play well even u should know tat paul was very conistant for us in the league and when we needed paul in championship he stepped up to the mark and it even said in the irish daily star he needs to be giving time everybody expects so much out of him. The town are just jealous of kilcoo of being in ulster because the town even know that kilcoo are far better than them footballing wise kilcoo are getting better every year we could actually see kilcoo in the ulster final. downrules (Down) - Posts: 60 - 11/11/2009 17:48:54 481369 Link 0 |
Lads why dont we just concentrate on the football instead of all this nonsense talk about what was said or not said in the stands, whos supporting or not supporting Kilcoo etc...I was in the stand and I didnt hear one Down man wish Kilcoo to get beat, infact just the opposite, anyhow good luck to Kilcoo on Sunday the counties behind ya! The Kilcoo management and players will be focused on beating The Loup on Sunday. It won't be an easy match to win. The rest of Down should get behind them. There can be quite an intense rivalry between Kilcoo & my own club, Liatroim, but I'll be in Casement on Sunday. ajdoyle78 (Down) - Posts: 520 - 11/11/2009 23:22:20 481743 Link 0 |
No way. .Its a sad reflection on down football when Kilcoo win a Down championship. They can forget about winning the Ulster. MrControversial (Down) - Posts: 77 - 12/11/2009 14:08:43 482120 Link 0 |
i wudnt listen to MrControversial he put liatrom as club of the year that says it all about his knowledge of football even liatrom people will say that they had a bad year stonedog (Down) - Posts: 352 - 12/11/2009 17:03:11 482292 Link 0 |
MrControversial its a sad reflection when people like you cannot overcome your jealousy and get behind kilcoo and support them as they are representing down. you may not like kilcoo and by your attitude i do not expect this post to change that view. why must they forget about winning ulster? they are still in it and have a chance of reaching the ulster final and if they do that anything can happen in a final. not many know alot about them as they havent played on the provincial stage yet which will be an advantage kilcoo hold over the loup. cillchuaabu (Down) - Posts: 115 - 12/11/2009 17:47:32 482334 Link 0 |
there seems to be alot of jelous around the county over what kilcoo have done this year up Kilcoo updown09 (Down) - Posts: 48 - 12/11/2009 19:42:37 482439 Link 0 |
updown09 dont talk nonsense lets just get behind Kilcoo this Sunday there is little or no jealously if you look over this thread most of the posts on here are from people supporting kilcoo!! All the Best for Sunday! THEBAR (Down) - Posts: 30 - 12/11/2009 20:54:35 482497 Link 0 |
Personally i would love to see Kilcoo get beat on sunday because their supporters are the most arrogant i have ever come accross. And dont humor me by saying that Castlewellan are jealous of Kilcoo with their one Senior Championship in 72 Years. This is the first decade that we haven't won a championship so i don't think there is much to be jealous about. As for the shouting in the stand, if it had of been Castlewellan playing would the Kilcoo one's have been cheering them or the opposition on? "stonedog," Liatroim where simply put as CLUB of the year due to their running of the annually successful Liatroim Festival and the general set up of the club, we all know Liatroim had a bad year, it doesn't take a genius to work that out, but if i had of thought they did well this year, they would have been under the TEAM of the year, there's a difference. hold on look at kilcoo they should be club of the year in my opinon because they won 4 county tittles this year now i haven't seen another club doing that downrules (Down) - Posts: 60 - 14/11/2009 10:30:35 483548 Link 0 |
All this anti-Kilcoo crap from Cwellan7 is a disgrace. I hope the club's true GAA members do not support this view. Kilcoo deserve success they have a great set up throughout the club and have underacheived in recent years. I hope, as a Down man, they go all the way in Ulster and i'm sure all true Down GAA people will share this view icantshoot (Down) - Posts: 64 - 14/11/2009 11:03:08 483567 Link 0 |
MrControversial your giving liatrom club of the year cause of the leitrem festival you cant be serious kilcoo won 4 all county championships would that not make them club of the year while what did liatrom win? i wud think club of the year would have to be successful in gaelic games not how many were at the chevys or how much drink they sold stonedog (Down) - Posts: 352 - 14/11/2009 14:33:53 483673 Link 0 |
Kilcoo Can Beat Loup They Went The hard way in the down championship they beat the favourite to be in the final with st galls so i think kilcoo can be loup but its gona be hard Kilcoo102 (Down) - Posts: 30 - 14/11/2009 15:24:19 483693 Link 0 |
its funny the way cwellan7 is saying he is not being jealous he just doesnt want kilcoo to do well cause of thier supporters! but their supporters have not won nothing its the players who have done all the winning, and as your from the town your bound to know at least one player from the kilcoo senior team, and i would Sincerely love to see you say that to their face! why would you begrudge a team from success just because your not found of their supporters! hard work and determination goes a long why and i think your just jealous because castlewellan have not shown anything of the sort in resent years, like you said they have not won a c'ship this decade and there is nothing in the youth system that would suggest that will change in the near future! kilcoo played second fiddle to castlewellan for most of the clubs history and dont try and tell us they didnt make fun of the wee hammering boys from the country! but now the tables are turned the mighty town are struggling to choke down their cough medicine! kilcoo deserve all the success they get and there is no doubt there is more to come in the future! bigbairyhalls (Down) - Posts: 63 - 14/11/2009 17:33:33 483784 Link 0 |

Must agree about the future of the mighty town being so bright, with youngsters like Big Greg and Ciaran McCabe in your ranks! You must be talking about winning the Bobby Dazell in the future. The mighty town have failed to field teams (incl 7 a-side) in recent years due to the clash with the foreign game, yet chased your own gaels from playing hurling on the beloved meadow. Sure your future stars can just walk between pitches on the Bann road - thats handy. The whole county seen your 'effort' for the parade on County Finals day and thats your future.
