Over the past couple of months I have been coming up with some really quite brilliant ideas for a business and I was hoping I could get some feedback off posters with regards to some of them .

1. Pet Bereavement cards- I feel people would really appreciate these
2. Mobile Phones with an incorporated TV remote control
3. Knives for left handed people (mostly targeting the novelty market with this)
4. An app for the Iphone which gives out info on Local GAA matches/news

more to follow..

So What do ye think of them??

Already been done. You can now buy Father's day cards, Putitive Father's day Cards, Awaiting DNA test potential Father's Day Cards, and indeed a card for ANY occasion.

In Antrim Town the town centre now has 15 eating places and 4 card shops and NOTHING else.

Buy a premiership club like Man United or Liverpool or even Portsmouth. You don't actually need any money.

It works like this. You tell the bank you need £700 million to buy United. They lend YOU the money, you buy the club. Then you say the CLUB owes the bank £7000 million, but you own the club.

Beats selling cards and you do not need any initial capital.

Or so it would seem.

What about a circular device that is capable of rotating on its axis, facilitating movement or transportation whilst supporting a load, or performing labour in machines?

Can't see your fasincation with it being circular don't think that would every catch on - would have thought that square is the only way to go - although it may not provide as comfortable a journey for the transported.

1. Set up a company that buys the "good yielding property" from NAMA at 75% of loan value (thus giving NAMA a profit) and sell this back to the banks at 80%.
2. Set up a chain of Hairdressers/Barbers that only opens from 6-9 each evening and all day Saturday and Sunday as opposed to all the other businesses that are only open when most people are at work.
3. Buy a fleet of large double decker coach that have luxury build inside - tables - laptop connections 50% of the seat density of a normal bus and operate these on Aerterial commuter routes in dublin where there is no train service using a quarterly pass - aimed at white collar sector to get to city centre using bus lanes but with comfort.
4. remortgage your parents house and Put 50k into a CFD account on the FTSE at 10% margin- If the market goes up 50% over the next two years you would make a profit of €250k- if it goes down 50% leg it.
5. Get apple/Nokia/Blackberry/Sony/Garmin/TomTOM/ to accept your universal standard type of charging device thus removing the need to carry 5 chargers with you for all mobile electrical devices.
6. with the kind permission of HQ design an on-line ticket swap exchange for Premium croker tickets - the buyer buys at face value less €2.50 commission - the seller loses €2.50 commission - you make €5 per ticket on all the weekly transfers from Hurling to Football land and vice versa -
7. Given the tough times we are in buy a "pawn shop" van and drive into working class estates with a cute ice cream type jingle at 8pm on a Friday night offering to buy gold jewellery for cash(beer vouchers)
