Relax Sir Alex, stop qualing.

Your youngsters and England internationals held the mighty Besiktas to one goal. This is the team that once held Liverpool to a narrow 8-0 defeat.

Nothing to worry about Fergie, as I said in the first post.

Not another draw Paddy! Hull!!!

I think Sir Alex will be getting less afraid and Sparky @ this stage will be wondering will he be able to buy his kids Santy presents.

ryan giggs played for a city underage team once or twice.

Just as well he left, as he would never get a game for City.

Will this unbeaten run ever end?

I told them all at work I need my £14,000 compensation for Saturday.

Told them City had gone back to the good old days, and would beat Chelsea without a doubt, and then probably lose the next 6 games. But no doubt whatsoever about beating Chelsea.

And all I had wasa miserable £40 at 11/4.

Ah well.

lump your winnings on united to win the league cup semi final tie with a goal 7 minutes into stoppage time, just as fergie is berating the 4th official for bad timekeeping.its sure to happen... again.

City grab a draw with Burnley who so far this season have been the scourge of Manchester and the big teams.

Well, I got the bit about United losing two out of three right. unfortunately winning once cancelled out City's three DRAWS.

Having restored pride to the City of Manchester by drawing with Burnley, the scourge of that city to date, Man City did the same again today by drawing with Liverpool, thereby preventing the scousers from a double over the city.

What was the question?

Thank you Fred, at last a bit of support. As you have just said, and as you know, that is the whole point of the thread. Why, given that City are useless, is Sir Alex afraid of them. I agree with you, doesn't make sense. That's why I started this thread, WHY (that's WHY) are United afraid of CITY. Go back to the start and see. Mind you, you seem to have confused me with Sir Alex. And according to The Master, City have won 96 games this year.

United sign Owen and now talk of Sol Campbell?

Will Sir Alex be sitting in Deansgate with a begging bowl soon?

Is all of this an attempt to make City look bad, with a "oh, we can't afford anything and look at those noisy neighbours on a spend, spend spend spree"

All getting ridiculous.

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH.

£20 on Bolton at a miserable 3/1, after winning last week on the Chelsea game.

Still, there doesn't appear to ANY good sides in the premiership.

City will stay up, as will United by the look of things, so look forward to next season.

Oops, not so sure United will stay up, with Wolves winning, Bolton gaining on them as well, and even Portsmouth getting closer to them.

Even loosing to a very good Villa side I still think that Utd will win the Prem. You're BS still cannot hide the fact that City are drawing too many games at this stage Paddy, they do not look like finishing in the top 4.

This thread started with the premise that City were not very good so why was Fergie frightened.

Mind you, how could ANY team lose 4 games out of 16 in such a bad league?

Maybe for once Fergie knew better than me.

How could Fergie lose 4 games in such a bad league.. How could a poster possibly comment on the standard of a league who's games he admits he doesnt watch.. How many times can he possibly bump up his own thread..

It seems all will remain a mystery..

Watching it is one thing, however too many listen instead and then prattle on about what the media tells them.

Fulham "are unbeaten for ten games" whereas City "haven't won for ten games" is a subtle difference believed by many.

Look at the "City need to be winning against the teams they are drawing with to be in the top four" constantly churned out on TV. really?

Then we are going to have a strange top four without Chelsea or United.

City DREW with Burnley, Villa and Liverpool, who all BEAT United, and City beat Chelsea, who also beat United.

So the reality is that these "costly draws" have actually earned City 6 points more than United, and United surely are the bench mark in this league.

Look at some of the other draws. Birmingham? In the last 5 games Birmingham, have won 4 and drew with City, which makes them the league's form team.

City also drew with Wigan, who beat Chelsea, and people laughed when they drew with Wolves, who yesterday BEAT the 4th placed team.

So while I still believe that City are not good enough, I also believe that the media have an agenda to make things worse, because pointing out that City have only LOST once this season does not sell papers or TV advertising space.

And sadly, the way things are going money wise in that league, City in a few years could be untouchable, winning 20 in a row, unless the Arabs get bored.

Now that is scary, for ALL football fans.

Probably best to just stop replying to it.

But then I would have to keep starting new threads.

Be realistic.

City won easily yesterday while United were thrashed, again.

Maybe, just maybe, fergie was right to worry.
