Why are United scared of City?

City arent useless. Despite his years Patrique is being petty and facetious.

. So you've started watching matches again Pat?

It was a serious mistake.

I mean, absolutely awful.

And people say this is the best league in the World? That City team would struggle in Serie F.

And the team that usually finishes 5th in England have just lost 7-0 on aggregate to a team from Portugal.

City grab a draw with Burnley who so far this season have been the scourge of Manchester and the big teams.

BE TERRIFIED

Well, I got the bit about United losing two out of three right. unfortunately winning once cancelled out City's three DRAWS.

Still, United can only get worse, City can onl;y get better.

Maybe Fergie was right, for once.

Be afraid.

I think the only one who might be terrified at this time is Mark Hughes. How many points have they dropped now? Draws when they could have been wins!
Mark - be afraid, be very afraid!

City's latest draw was with the mighty Burnley.

That means City are the ONLY Manchester based team NOT to have lost to Burnley in the premiership this year.

And I would get rid of Hughes in the morning, as City need one of Europe's legends, like Sven.

Four City players maybe starting for England, a 5th on the bench, and two of Brazil's top players City or ex City.

Ireland's best player is a City man, as is Wales.

Be afraid.

At this stage everybody knows that Aaron Ramsey is the best Welsh player.

He plays for Arsenal? The only game I attended this year was V Arsenal, he must have been injured as he was not on.

Mind you, neither was Bellamy.

That was the game when poor Adebayor got slated for celebrating scoring.

I see Brazil beat City 1-0 on saturday.

Can't win them all.

Having restored pride to the City of Manchester by drawing with Burnley, the scourge of that city to date, Man City did the same again today by drawing with Liverpool, thereby preventing the scousers from a double over the city.

And nice to see Stephen Ireland, fully rested, doing well.

BE AFRAID

Why would United care about the City of Manchester, sure they've no fans or players from there.

But remember Rique, a win and loss is worth more than two draws.

Correct. But in games against the alleged "big four" City have won one, drew one and lost one in dubious circumstances without the victors offering a replay.

United on the other hand have lost TWO, and won one.

BE AFRAID.

And I still think I was right about Hughes.

His ambition is stuck at achieving a 0-0 draw.

He waits until they are behind before attacking a poor Liverpool who everyone (bar United) beats this year.

Another two points wasted.

So why is Fergie terrified, unless he realises like everyone else that it is only a matter of time.

And being knocked off the perch by City would not suit Fergie's ego.

BE VERY AFRAID

Just sitting here looking out at the weather its raining the wind is howling and it is not very nice so i have tuned to H/S and i am very surprised to see this thread is still running so i have just looked at the facts and figures and they amaze me. I know Patrique started the thread but out of 156 comments on the subject he had 68 so are we to assume it is him that is afraid and not Utd

Relax Sir Alex, stop qualing.

Your youngsters and England internationals held the mighty Besiktas to one goal. This is the team that once held Liverpool to a narrow 8-0 defeat.

Nothing to worry about Fergie, as I said in the first post.
