However I want make one thing clear - I am not blinded by any red mist in my support of my national soccer team and I would appreciate that you would not suggest this

There is an exception to every rule.

JonSmith County: Cavan Posts: 436 454994 Patrique, Question. . How do you know that Van-Der Saar had little to do last year and indeed that teams were playing for 0-0 draws with them? I know because 95% of premiership managers are stupid. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that United are good offensively, but useless at the back. despite this 99% of teams sit back against them. When Sunderland did not sit back, and attacked them, it was so newsworthy that World War 111 was relegated to page 5 in the papers. So if a team NOT sitting back is newsworthy, I can read between the lines, and assume every other team does sit back. Elementary my dear Jon.

So your telling me you can stand by opinions formed by reading between the lines of reports about games you havent watched?.... Baffling my dear pat...

1 premiership manager isnt stupid based on your stats, Steve Bruce.....?

Also assuming United play roughly 50 competitive games and 99% of teams dont attack then at most 1 team is going to attack in any given year. Im glad Sunderland did and United now will have a clear route to both the Premier League and Champions League..

Im off to the bookies...

Sir Alex Ferguson today said "Lads, United have no money left so spending money on players is stupid, ruins the game, and should not be allowed".

BE AFRAID

So, Bolton decided to sit back, and United looked very good going forward, as everyone knows they are.

Apart from 95% of premiership managers.

Once they were 2-0 down, Bolton ATTACKED, and United's defence is terrible, as everyone knows.

Apart from 95% of premiership managers.

United were hanging on for dear life at the end.

BE AFRAID

City would need to be picking up 3 points in games like today if they fancy their chances with the big boys

City, minus Robinho, Bellamy, Ireland and santa Cruz, get a draw at all conquering Wigan, who thrashed Chelsea last match, and playoing with ten men.

City also drew at Villa who thrashed Liverpool and Chelsea.

BE VERY AFRAID.

Brolly posting as much nonsense as SAF talks, "We are not scared of City, that's why I talk/post about them all the time".

And Son of Erin is that rocked that he needs two attempts to post.

BE AFRAID.

And wasn't it refreshing to see the nice City manager commenting on a controversial "penalty" incident involving Wright Philips, "I must commend the referee (Alan Wiley) for being right up with the play" and said with just the hint of a smile.

Speaking of running out of steam, United looked a bit laboured again. They have already conceded 7 league goals at Old Trafford this year. Last year it took until March 14th when Liverpool scored 4 for that to happen.

But perhaps I do not understand soccer. I know City's defence is useless because they bought 20 forwards and everyone laughed and said the defence was useless. They have already conceded 9 goals this year.

United with the best defence in the WORLD have only conceded..........9.

Am I missing something?

Patrique - I reckon your convoluted ramblings could go on forever and you wouldn't even break sweat.
Only wind!!

You have about 50% of the replies to this post. I think you're just bored.

United are not scared of City. And you know it.

City and Mark Hughes are very scared of winning nothing and the Sheik just gets bored and fecks off to invest
in formula 1 racing. Something more appropriate to petro-dollars.

That's a very likely out-come, wouldn't you say.

Another one!!! The terror is spreading. "United are not afraid of City, City will end up in formula one, I am not talking about City, I am not, I'm not".

Ram, are you Sir Alex?

THE FEAR IS SPREADING
