Why are United scared of City?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Lads, this thread was supposed to be a wind up.

Today 8 Man United fans e-mailed me to say City had been knocked out of the FA Cup.

On this site, that fact is now the subject of about 5 threads.

I have been at that place of work for 8 years. Not one person has EVER e-mailed me before to say that City had been knocked out of the FA Cup.

United really ARE terrified of City.

No Patrique. U have become so annoying as an abu on here and at work that people are enjoying getting the boot in on YOU. U can be rest assured that you are the only city fan on work here or at work that is getting slagged. I couldnt really care how city do. They're no threat.

Let us hope Chellsea beat City on Saturday.

I am convinced Arsenal will finish ahead of United, and not too sure I would like to see Arsenal win the league.

I didn't realise just how scared the united fans were. I mean, say City did buy their way to the top and won 5 CL in a row, equalling the biggest club ever, Real Madrid.

Would it really matter?

It wouldn't to me.

I take more pride from those Youth Cup wins, Work in the Community trophies and real sporting things like that, rather than bought premierships or CLs.

Mind you, two years since we won a really big trophy.

So United fans, do not despair. Any one can go into any jewellers and buy trophies.

Well Slasher, we now know that Liverpool, City and Chelsea already have a better starting 11 than United.

United might be good for the marathon slog and win the league, although I still rate Arsenal, but the other three are Usain Bolt to United's long distance plodder.

City needed to win today as Liverpool have an easy 3 points against United coming up soon.

By the way, did United EVER beat Liverpool? Back in the 1930s maybe.

Four City men in the England squad, three from United.

With respect to Drogba, footballer of the year is now all about Tevez and Rooney. At the moment Rooney's heading ability gives him the edge, although in his first 316 games for United he only scored 4 headers.

Mind you, until Valencia arrived, United haven't had a decent winger since Coppell.

City challenging for 4th, taking 6 points from the ONLY team to threaten barcelona last year, a terrible beauty could indeed be born.

Meanwhile the neighbours are in a state of panic..........

This could not be true as it happened in Manchester.

Unless it was a visiting United fan........................

Johnson is a tragic waste as he is a wonderful talent.

Getting to the business end of the season now.

Chelsea, United and Arsenal look like qualifying, so who will be 4th?

it is in City's hands, although City will be lucky to get anything at Fulham and Liverpool have a "gimme" 3 points this Sunday.

With half of Chelsea and Arsenal now injured, and all of United (Rooney) is it too late for City to win the league?

Hopefully it is as winning this would be vulgar for a team of our means.
