What? What are you talking about man/woman?

United's 3 in a row premiership? Should be 17 in a row, how did they ever lose it? A one team league and they win 3 in a row?

Two CL league finals? Read the Financial Times, and keep an eye on the bankruptcy court, that explains all.

I have said 26 times on these pages, given 750 million debt I believe Glentoran would have WON both CL finals.

There is over 4 months between those posts which would suggest that perhaps the thread is RIVETING.

Priceless.

YOU ask two questions, I answer, and I am a child?

Priceless.

I need better competition on here.

If over the years United have accumulated 750 million in debt and won what they have, and in One year City have spent around 300 million, almost half of United's debt.... then why are City not top of the table? Assuming you take the view that finance is finance whether you pull the money from your robe or from a bank..

Obviously you know very little about football.

I think Tottenham have outspent everyone for some time with little tangible success. And it takes time.

City however are sort of threatening after MONTHS. No-one has won anything so far this year, to the best of my knowledge.

Football? You mean the game that's played on the grass area with 11 players a ball and goals.. Thank you but my knowledge on that matter is just fine. If however you are talking about "Football" in the sense that Robinho was the best footballer in the League (that goal against Scunthorpe is looking pretty expensive from where i'm sitting) and that City have the most talented players in the League (obviously better than united who clearly rely on own goals to sit second in the league) then yes the finer points of the Premier League are of very little interest to me, I enjoy the game itself without becoming caught up in the balance books, that would tend to explain the presence of the question mark at the end of my sentence in my last post would it not?

It must be wonderful to log on here climb onto your high horse and wind up and belittle some United fans and wallow in your own intelligence and superiority. I can assume that you really hate the fact that City's success is hollow, that even if they win the League for the next ten years in a row and United away to nothing it wouldn't give you any satisfaction. If bumping this thread to feed your own ego will make you feel better then keep at it patrique. And when the season is over i'm sure you will make some condescending and convoluted point to wrap up all the nonsensical 'arguments' you have made and remain comfortable in the knowledge that you were never bettered.
I for one will take my pitiful knowledge of "Football" and stay off this particular thread.

Got it in one, but he does not belittle me or wind me up. This chap has made a reputation for himself by talking in riddles. Take a look at the Cesc Fabregas thread for example.

Patrique wrote: He might even get on for Spain soon. But I doubt it.

Nocky replied: He's started 7 out of their last 10 matches and come on as a substitute in the other 3, so I suspect you could be right.

Then Patrique went on to say Fabregas didn't play the euro 2008 final, so he can't be great, then said you can't judge any player on one game!

For all his comments about SKY, Patrique should work for them because he, like SKY, believes his own hype. I hust think he says very little of worth despite numerous posts, which is why I think he is a troll to be honest. Sad to have to try & fail at winding people up to get a bit of recognition.

All together now "Oh Happy Days".

Dear oh dear, trouble reading the written word as well now.

Nocky said he started EVERY game, I said he didn't start until Villa was injured and the team was rejigged.

Gosh, I was right. Again.

And i imagine he DID start in the final as Villa was still injured, unless he is 3rd or 4th sub.

_______________

Here is the Fabregas thread patrique.

Nowhere did I say he started every game in Euro 2008, what I said was that he appeared in every game. I also pointed out that he did quite well, and was central to Spain winning the tournament, contrary to what other posters mistakenly believed. I went on to say in another post that he has started 7 of Spain's last 10 games, after you called him a "reserve". Someone who starts 70% of the time is not a "reserve" in my book.
