Not for the All Ireland I don't think but they'll be there or thereabouts in Munster especially with Walsh and Moran gone for O Rahilly's.

I believe it was Kevin McGourty who did the damage today, and Gallagher over Mone.

Impressive win as Clontribret are a useful side, but Loup will be difficult in the final. Derry clubs have a great record in Ulster.

st galls probably have better players but loup are a dogged, determined side and will relish taking on the city men.

st.galls are an amazing side. just wait till they get the loup in the final, if they play the same quality of football they pplayed against clontibret today then they will win the all-ireland.
st.galls always seemed to be able to play a great ball into the forwards and that combined with the brilliant movement from the inside forwards is a deadly combination

On todays evidence St. Gall's will be hard beaten. They have a forward line most county teams would be envious of.
Kevin Mc Gourty and Aodhan Gallagher where head and shoulders above everyone on show. Looks like it's tunnel vision for an All-Ireland for them.

Most club sides have one forward, the free taker, who they rely on for scores, and maybe another one who chips in now and again.

But St Gall's have 6, or maybe 7 with Karl Stewart in the subs. I said this when they won Ulster a few years ago, with Carrickmore totally reliant on Gormley, and Mayobridge on Benny. They then played woeful in the final, I think wearing safron jerseys at Croke did it for them.

On their day they have the best side, but football is not played on paper. During the winter anything can happen, and Loup will not be easy beat. Having said that today was very impressive, as Clontribert are a good side.

Nice to see a few other posters realising just how good KEVIN McGourty is. I have been trying to tell people that for years.

They could go all the way Pat.Altough if Loup resort to bullyboy Derry tactics it could be open season.

I have also always rated Kevin McGourty very highly. If he would wise up a bit and play for Antrim they would benefit and he would too. If he played for his county theres no reason why he couldn't be renowned as one of the best in Ireland. Michael McCann was an allstar nominee this year from the saffrons, Kevin is a far better player and along with Sean kelly would walk into any county side. St Galls looking very good for ulster and their performance on sunday was a real joy to watch. Play like they did there and the All Ireland is a very attainable goal.
