I believe it was Kevin McGourty who did the damage today, and Gallagher over Mone. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 15/11/2009 17:31:38 484266 Link 0 |
st galls probably have better players but loup are a dogged, determined side and will relish taking on the city men. orange and blue (Tyrone) - Posts: 1080 - 15/11/2009 18:03:15 484294 Link 0 |
st.galls are an amazing side. just wait till they get the loup in the final, if they play the same quality of football they pplayed against clontibret today then they will win the all-ireland. gggg (Monaghan) - Posts: 225 - 15/11/2009 18:55:52 484326 Link 0 |

On todays evidence St. Gall's will be hard beaten. They have a forward line most county teams would be envious of. Plink (Monaghan) - Posts: 110 - 15/11/2009 23:01:46 484580 Link 0 |
Most club sides have one forward, the free taker, who they rely on for scores, and maybe another one who chips in now and again. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 16/11/2009 00:57:15 484654 Link 0 |
They could go all the way Pat.Altough if Loup resort to bullyboy Derry tactics it could be open season. fredrickwood (Roscommon) - Posts: 2871 - 16/11/2009 14:07:32 485002 Link 0 |
I have also always rated Kevin McGourty very highly. If he would wise up a bit and play for Antrim they would benefit and he would too. If he played for his county theres no reason why he couldn't be renowned as one of the best in Ireland. Michael McCann was an allstar nominee this year from the saffrons, Kevin is a far better player and along with Sean kelly would walk into any county side. St Galls looking very good for ulster and their performance on sunday was a real joy to watch. Play like they did there and the All Ireland is a very attainable goal.
