I reckon Corofin will be worth a punt

Good to hear Clon won Cork. Was down there during the summer and all anyone seemed to be talking about was football. They have a serious set up down there. I think Moyle Rovers will win Tipp. Would be very surprised to see them challenge for Munster.

agree that crokes were blessed to win dublin last year against plunketts and rode their luck against rhode ;) too

Maybe judes can cause an upset in dublin

Watch Rhode of Offaly, this is the year when they will finally win Leinster and if they get out of the province it will take one hell of a team to beat them. The downside of Rhode winning the Leinster is that our county team will be missing some very influentual players for the early stages of the league.

Maigh_Eo, forget about Corofin winning the All-Ireland. Not a chance. They MIGHT win Connaught, depends what comes out of Mayo, but they will not win the All-Ireland.

Portlaoise are absolutely flying this year. The rest of the standard in Laois might have dropped though and Portlaoise could do with a competitive semi final and hopefully final if Leinster and AI is a real prospect.

Crossmolina are on the up they still have Mcdanger manning the full forward Line, What a target man hey?? Filled with talent and bags of Pace coupled with accurate forwar line!! If they win Mayo they will go along way!!

Seeing as the last 2 winners were Dublin clubs it would be foolhardy to rule out the Dublin champions. Boden & Kilmacud would be the 2 strongest left and I suspect that one of them will win the Dublin championship and either of these teams has the potential to go all the way.

Corofin are always there or thereabouts most years as they have a good solid team all over the field but they will be let down again by the fact that they have no intercounty forward in their team. If they had a Meehan, Joyce or Armstrong up front for them I think they would have a great chance of an AI title but they don't. They could well win Connacht but the lack of a marquee forward let them down last year against Kilmacud Crokes as they had enough possession to win that game.

Semi fimals this week end in Carlow, Old Leighlin v O'Hanrahans and Eire Og v Rathvilly either one of those would win a couple of games in the Leinster championship but some how I think Rathvilly will go that little bit further should they win the Carlow county final.
