Just wondering who ye think will do well in this as the inter county season takes a break its a chance to focus on the club scene. From my own county it looks like Charlestown or Cross to represent mayo and possibly Connaught. Are the usual suspects still going Nemo ,Cross and how are last years winners fairing snap (Mayo) - Posts: 54 - 28/09/2009 23:48:49 439374 Link 0 |
Nemo are not in the race they did not even reach the Cork county final last sunday which was won by Clonakilty of West Cork Redhot (Cork) - Posts: 739 - 29/09/2009 10:54:53 439525 Link 0 |
I am surprised that you have not heard that Nemo Rangers and Crossmaglen are long gone from their County Championships. The Armagh final has not been played yet, but Clonakilty are the new Champions in Cork. Strange to say, they had no one on the Cork team that played in the All Ireland Final. Nemo gone. Clonakilty will be corks reps this year. No intercounty players on that team. marym (Cork) - Posts: 242 - 29/09/2009 11:14:19 439546 Link 0 |
I think it will be a district team that will win in Kerry this year although the 2 top Div 1 sides, Dr. Crokes and St. Michaels Foilmore are also still in it. Either of these 2 will have a good chance if they end up representing Kerry but there will always be serious clubs from Cork (Clonakilty / Nemo / Castlehaven), from Clare (Doonbeg and Kilmurry) and Dromcollagher Broadford from Limerick. thykingdomcome (Kerry) - Posts: 1206 - 29/09/2009 11:48:40 439587 Link 0 |

if rhode can get out of leinster they will have a great chance .leinster is the hardest province to get out of in club football with dublin kildare laois and offaly all having strong repasensitives. liffo (Offaly) - Posts: 649 - 29/09/2009 14:29:47 439793 Link 0 |

rhode will be doing extremally well to win the offaly championship. whoever wins that play the kildare champions two weeks later. as they both are well known for week drinking sessions this game will come to fast for rhode or clara. id say the dublin champions will win leinster again Rhodejim (Offaly) - Posts: 2888 - 29/09/2009 15:27:11 439863 Link 0 |

TKC St. MichaelsFoilmore wont represent either Kerry or Munster in the Club championship as there nothing more than a league side . South Kerry should win the county championship with Dr. Crokes represting Kerry and possibly Munster . I know little to nothing about Clonakilty . The final 4 should be Crokes , Armagh Harps , St. Vincents ( if there still in it ) and im not sure what stage the connacht county championship is at RenardRedHand (Tyrone) - Posts: 547 - 29/09/2009 15:47:55 439892 Link 0 |

Renardredhand, I'd agree that St. Michaels dont have much of a chance but would still love to see them doing well. Having said that i hope Ciarrai Thiar put them to bed on Saturday. Being a man from our westerly peninsula. thykingdomcome (Kerry) - Posts: 1206 - 29/09/2009 19:36:36 440182 Link 0 |
