Tyrone Minor Trials

What about Kildress who reached the minor championship grade 1 final this year, any players in the mix for the minor trials. They had a few lads in the development squads this year.

unfortunately redfile i'm told that kildress lose practically over half of that team that got to the final. Never the less, they have 3 development squad players, u16 and u17 as well as a few other good players.

young padraig mc nutly would make the starting panel this year.. great full back.. kept kyle coney to a bare minium at last years minors.. and big roise for brackaville this year.. would allow dywane quinn to move into centre half back were he is more effective and mc nabb in the middle with crugan playin as a 3rd midfield from centre half forward.. ross mc shea wouldnt be far of the pase this year very good impact sub

why are the trials so early? This is pretty stupid i think, alot of things can change between now and march.

smacky..anyone could have won the all ireland with that bunch of players lol probably the most gifted minor football team possibly ever in 2008...it was just unlucky last year they started late, they were the only team to outplay armagh all year...some of the younger players didnt show up on the day and there is no doubt about it, he did not pick the strongest fifteen....but t this years team could be in with a shout in ulster i have to say...i just hope munroe isnt the manager?

wee kevin o gorman looked dangerous in the first trial this mornin! slane from carrickmore very good, plenty of talent in that trial. Only 19 places up for grabs though with 11 players from last year's panel being available. Second trial, lot of boys missin, but lot of good football played.

i heard ruairi bradley played well today at the trials. Only 16 and he 6ft 2. He would be a great asset to the minors

Yes Ruari Bradley and Stevie Kelly both combined well
to get 8 points each and destroyed their defence. the forward
line on the other team were completely useless. Bradleys long range
frees were very good. Five goalkeepers at the trial very hard to
choose between them.

riuiri bradley was very effective from the free's i dnt think he was all that brilliant from play because when he lost the ball he didn put in the effort to win it back and when his marker made a run up the pitch which on 2 occasions led to scores he didnt track back. i still think he is a good player though

Simon Harney and Niall McGinn were thw only ones
I recognised. They all played ok probably go down
to the quality of kick outs. Anyway Naomh Mhuire
U16 keeper Mark Reynolds I think would be better
than these.

the pomeroy keeper, john mccourt i think it is, looked good to me, confident in coming out with it...aware of his area positioning. Who played well at yesterday's trials?

Conan Grugan will be a dominant force in the middle of the park. i watched him in the u21 final and he wasnt to fond of running but the lad can catch them and swing them !

TyroneFan22 I think that Munroe should have a last shout at the minors and see what he can do with this years team.

Do u mind naming the switches that you would have made IF u were manager?
