Wouldn't be a bit suprised if Toome do a smash and grab!! They NEVER give up and will fight to the bitter end - no doubt! The Best of Luck to them. I hope they do it! It would be brilliant to see the underdogs winning for a change.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the issue surrounding Benny McKenna playing for Emyvale or not? I thought that he only got two yellow cards...
Was he sent off in the Championship this year already?

benny mc kenna did pick up two yellows, but the referee also reported him for alledged verbal abuse, hence he picked up a 1 month ban.

Toome left it behind and will never get a better chance.. Not enough top forwards but they have came on well. Emyvale did enough thought the captain was man a match..

Congrats emyvale. They made hard work of it but came good at the end. It was a poor enough final and Toome managed to stay in touch well but the better team did win I thought. Sean McMeel or John Flannery were Emyvales best players on the day and one of them should have received the man of the match award. That said Flanagan from Toome who got the award did have a good game too.

Over the Whole year they were the best team in junior and deserved it.
That said Toome really done themselves proud on sunday.They lorded posession but they are short about two forwards.
Toomes two corner back Darren Conlon and Damien Wilson were the best players on the field.Emyvales corner forwards didnt
get a rub of it never mind a kick and were both substituted.I think Toome will be back again next year if they keep mc conville
But yous will have to find another couple of forwards
