St Patricks, Claugaun or Garrispillanes pitch in knocklong are the best surfaces in the county.

Stakers have the best facilities thanks to there good friend JP.

Patrickswell pitch is the worst field ive ever seen. Im told the is a 5.5 foot drop from one corner of the field to the opposite

dingo1. The pitch in Ballyagran was poor on sunday when the 13 aside hurling final was held. i would imagine it hard to hop a football on it and it didnt look like it was cut in a while

cheers backofdanet..... they'll hardly get a mover into it this week either. suppose most of the pitches around limerick are suffering from all the rain over the last 2 weeks

in term of being able to watch the match from good views and not standing on a hedge or mound..NCW and Kilmallock are savage... more underage county games should be played there... as for surfaces.. The two afore mentioned ballingarry stakers gaelic grounds bruff (in dry weather) worst kilcornan bruree coolcappagh

Was out in Ahane today watching a challenge game between Ard Scoil and an east selection. Despite all the rain their new pitch was as dry as a bone, must be one of the best pitches in the county.

Staker's probably hav the best surface in the county. the gaelic grounds is not far off but stakers hav a serious setup!
Kilmallock has its days but can get a bit boggy. Bruff in the summer can be outstanding. Also a few nice fields in the city- the likes of claughan, st. pats ballybrown are lovely surfaces.
And the surface in pwell suprisingly isnt that bad!! cud be a grand field only for the 6 foot drop from 1 corner to the other!!!
