Orlaith, I listened to the three songs and they are excellent. Hope your school wins !! I do a bit of singing myself, very late on a Friday night in the pub. I am very good, and modest !!

Well I'm in the choir, But since the whole of Ireland can enter I think we dont stand much of a chance! I'll let you know how we get on on the 5th of October, Wish us luck please ;)

It's killing us all, Orlaith. Can't wait until tomorrow and we know who has been crowned the All Ireland (Choir) Champions 2009. I just hope there is no anti-northern bias and ye get judged fairly.

YASSSSS WE GOT THROUGH!! We will be going to Sligo on the 23rd to be filimed for RTE and then we might get through to the final if we do good on the 23rd! Yay Im so happy. Thanks to all the well wishers :D

caughtredhanded, I would personally think that was one of our worst songs, I always hated singing it! I remember in Feis Doire Colmcille we did terrible but oh we have improved! I liked Rythm of life if I had to pick, Otherwise none :) But ah well

Lumen Christi College, Derry Loreto Secondary School, Balbriggan Jesus & Mary Secondary School, Mayo St. Joseph's Secondary School, Rochfordbridge Dublin Notre Dame Secondary, Dublin St Columba's College, Rathfarham Alexandra College, Dublin Mount Anville, Dublin The Kings Hospital, Dublin Cork Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny Urusline Secondary School, Thurlus Presentation Secondary School, Ballyphehane, Cork Newtown School, Waterford Clongowes Wood College The five schools in each of the regions will battle it out to become the regional winner. The regional heats will be televised on RTE 1, Belfast - 18 October; Dublin - 25 October; Cork - 1 November; and Sligo - 8 November 2009. The four regional final winners will go on to participate in the final at Belfast's Ulster Hall on 15 November. It will be transmitted live on RTE I television. 78 schools from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland entered the Co-operation Ireland choir competition, which is being sponsored by RTE and the Titanic Quarter.
