"Sad day that fellow irish people would attack them because they were Cork Sopportes. I hope it is comdemmed by all and that this type of stuff will not crept into our game" TheGlensman (Antrim) - Posts: 123 - 22/09/2009 18:30:52 433482 Link 0 |
Some people just love to put the boot in on Dublin Gaa anyway they can.......This carry on goes on in every small town on this island just because they travel abroad does'nt mean they behave any differently......This attack was wrong tomaoo7 (Dublin) - Posts: 5896 - 22/09/2009 18:41:20 433490 Link 0 |
I agree with the Glensman, Paddy the Mayo man is just using the actions of a few drunken scumbags as a stick to beat Dublin GAA fans. Have you nothing better to be doing than trying to whip up anti-Dublin sentiments? JimmyK (Dublin) - Posts: 240 - 22/09/2009 18:47:16 433495 Link 0 |
Our bus driver was attacked after a match up there and ther's usually a lot of hassle, best thing is to hang around in a big group and don't seperate Cranky360 (Mayo) - Posts: 834 - 22/09/2009 18:59:41 433519 Link 0 |

As usual glensman you took each of my comments completely out of context with me responding to meathbhoy who said it should not be in a GAA forum. How petty you are to use that comment as a source to have a go at me. How sad indeed paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 22/09/2009 19:08:48 433527 Link 0 |

O' Gall- Your comments are clear and completely in context. You look for every opportunity to criticise anything to do with the North and Dublin. Pathetic really! TheGlensman (Antrim) - Posts: 123 - 22/09/2009 20:22:03 433601 Link 0 |

What this story has to do with all things GAA is beyond me, Yellow card here for HS editorial for even publishing the story ... shows very bad judgement I think. bluejay (Dublin) - Posts: 47 - 22/09/2009 23:26:10 433895 Link 0 |
This happens all the time abroad with drunken holiday makers especially the english football fans. I would advise anyone not to wear any type of jersey in these popular resorts. it's a shame but has to be the way . Unfortunately these thugs don't need much of an excuse to start a fight so my advise would be don't give them one. If you wear the jersey then be prepared to defend it. s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5520 - 23/09/2009 13:31:39 434264 Link 0 |
