Sad day that fellow irish people would attack them because they were Cork Sopportes. I hope it is comdemmed by all and that this type of stuff will not crept into our game paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 22/09/2009 12:28:23 433020 Link 0 |
Thats disgraceful....but please note they were Dublin "so called" supporters! I doubt they know anything about GAA if this is how they behave themselves..... Broj (Kerry) - Posts: 4 - 22/09/2009 12:59:04 433061 Link 0 |

Disgraceful, but I doubt to be fair that they were actually GAA Dublin fans. Puddersthecat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1692 - 22/09/2009 14:04:05 433142 Link 0 |

The report doesn't say they were 'Dublin fans' but dubliners.. This is not really GAA related, just louts drunk abroad picking on someone is a Cork shirt who was in the wrong place at wrong time. A disgrace all the same Meath_bhoy (Meath) - Posts: 590 - 22/09/2009 15:26:41 433211 Link 0 |
Dublin G.A.A. supporters do not behave in this way. No way were they associated with the G.A.A. I have never seen true G.A.A. people behave like this and the Dubs are among the best supporters of our national games !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 22/09/2009 15:44:38 433239 Link 0 |

I would doubt if they were GAA fans. Probably a crowd of drunken scum who were looking for any excuse whatsoever to start a row DoireCK (Derry) - Posts: 162 - 22/09/2009 16:29:45 433310 Link 0 |
Think of the good press Ireland will be getting over that eh? Talk about letting your country if not your county down! What satisfaction do these people get? Orlaith (Derry) - Posts: 4282 - 22/09/2009 16:38:29 433321 Link 0 |

I dont think that just because they werent fans makes it any Better. They were Irish people in a different country who recognised that the other people were Cork GAA supporters and were beat in the All Ireland final. Who are we to know they werent Dublin GAA fans. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 22/09/2009 17:12:37 433371 Link 0 |
Its GAA related cos the person attacked was wearing a GAA Cork jersey-personally I have always found the real Dublin GAA supporters to be brilliant kerrykerry (Kerry) - Posts: 1779 - 22/09/2009 17:14:19 433374 Link 0 |
