Any chance of backing up your statement of fact? Do you have times?

John Mullane is perhaps the quickest around in both codes at present. But of those now retired DJ Carey's electric pace and acceleration is unrivalled in modern hurling. In Gaelic football, I can think of no one off hand quicker than David Beggy, Mickey Linden, or Graham Geraghty and perhaps Michael Donnellan when he began his inter-county career.

Anyone from westmeath think of the name of your fastest player? In a league match 2 yrs back i think it was,one of your players gave cian mackey a 5 yard headstart and still got the ball in front of him and Mackey himself is a rocket!

THE FASTEST GAA PLAYER IN HISTORY,
now that is easy=michael donnellan of GALWAY,whether it was soloing or just tracking back and setting up the attack this boy was increddible, someone else mentioned kelly of LIMERICK,YES ALSO VERY VERY QUICK,but donellan had speed on and off the ball to a fierce degree=if he got just one step on you ,well the rest is history.Icannot believe he was not picked up across in one of the acadamys in england at a young age because of his love also for soccer, kelly on the other hand loved rugby and still does, but both were gifted with immense SPEED=LIGHTNING QUICK.
