Just watched the 9 o'clock news. It looks like there's a silver bullet with his name on it flying through the air. Dead man walking !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 06/10/2009 21:17:24 446828 Link 0 |
one of the results of his removal would be that the south kerry constuency will be electing 3 TDs next time giving Jackie healy Rae a chance of re election, bet what way he'll be voting dhorse (Laois) - Posts: 11374 - 06/10/2009 21:41:12 446856 Link 0 |

He has now resigned !! Well the writing was on the wall all day !! No sad loss to anyone as he insulted the taxpayer and took us all for a ride, a very expensive one !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 06/10/2009 23:07:24 447021 Link 0 |
Has he resigned as a TD or just Ceann Comhairle. I'm guessing he'll still hold onto his cushy TD job. laoistownie (Laois) - Posts: 409 - 06/10/2009 23:22:38 447035 Link 0 |

Did I not hear the SF fellow, O Caolain from Monaghan early this morning asking for Labour, Fine gael to back their proposal for John O'Donoghue to resign. Did Gilmore move to steal Sinn Fein's thunder I wonder|? Connolly (Dublin) - Posts: 138 - 07/10/2009 00:00:56 447080 Link 0 |

Heard O'Calolin on shannonside fm on MOnday and he wouldn't make a committment on asking mr o'd to resign. Funny how the world goes as the shinners were first out the traps yesterday morning calling for his head. Mr O'D can now open discussions with Michael Martin who recently got the heave ho from his cushy number in british parliament for similar shenanigans. I just watched the you tube rant when Mr O'D suspended the Dail. Absolute classic stuff. At some stage this man is made for GAA congress. thistle_harps (UK) - Posts: 879 - 07/10/2009 15:25:04 447633 Link 0 |
And did you see that Fine Gael fellow,Kenny change his tune about three times in a day.The labour fellow. Gilmore got in ahead of him so the Fianna Fail fellow O'Donoghue had no choice then but resign. Real Kerry Fan (None) - Posts: 2957 - 07/10/2009 15:50:25 447657 Link 0 |
I heard they blamed me for his downfall because i started this thread. They went on about me for hours in the Dail. It was in Irish so most of you wouldn't understand it !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 07/10/2009 18:39:17 447900 Link 0 |

I seen on you tube there is an independent guy down there making a lot of noise, but here do I not pick up a paper today and see he (the man with the bunnet) is in the top ten for expences claims. How the **** do you get youself nominated for this oul TD lark. I might have a go at it myself. thistle_harps (UK) - Posts: 879 - 07/10/2009 21:58:19 448105 Link 0 |
