nothing unfortune about cappamore's relegation... they seem to be a club going through a rough patch at the moment. But it should be a good battle for the east junior title next year. probably even a chance caherline will be joining that battle the year after!!!! as for what have kilteely won??? well the trophy cabinet is over flowing at the moment but thanks for asking

Hospital/Herbertstown = 1 parish not 2
Kilteely/Dromkeen = 1 parish not 2

Will ye ever come down off ye're high horses trying to make an amalgamation out of the H/h U-21 team when its not. If it were wudn't all kilteely/dromkeen players be at their disposal, fellas like paudie ahern for example(a county minor this year). Its basically one parish team who took in a couple of kilteely lads who wanted to play hurling with them at u-21 rather than not play at all for the year. End of Story. Team is named Naomh Seain because of some silly rule, which as a matter of fact is completely ignored by most clubs. I commend H/H in promoting our national games!!

Caherline 09, ye do have & have had some players at junior/intermediate that are from dromkeen...obviously ye can't attract any young players to yer underage at the moment as a blind man could see the KD underage structure is a lot better...i have been speaking to a lot of the lads involved with KD juvenile & there is great work goin in...also with regard to what KD have won, from what I can see they have been far more successful than ur club this year...considering ye can't even put out an adult fball team in the club when ye have a much bigger population...cappamore desrved to be relegated this year; they are not a bad team but didn'y put in the required effort...ur team may not last much longer at inter level, the teams ye fielded this year are not even close in quality to the team that won the county in '07..everyone on these treads are sick of the same auld thing from you and east gael putting down all the other teams in the east & yet offering nothing constructive to any discussions...

The ignorance of the above post is hilarious, you are wrong on just about everything, first of all as a hurling club, strangely enough we concentrate on hurling, secondly u12 clean sweep, yers pulled out. Our u14s county finalists,u10s etc massive numbers. And the funny one, these fantastic players from dromkeen that contribute to our teams, who are they...is it on your playstation or something because nobody ive spoken to knows who the hell your talking about. Back to fantasyland with ye now.

Whats the latest on the South Division? Has the final been played or are the South nominating clubs for the county QF?

Bruree Dromin athlacca out

Blackrock out

Made up team through!

only 1 team from the south as far as we know!

What a F up by the south board. If that semi wasnt played it would have become the south final. So the only team in the semis who didnt cheat or bend the rules gets knocked out! Really!

How is it no one has a problem with the amalglamtion Killulta Gaels who are actually 3 clubs Joined - Kildimo (intermediate), Pallaskenry (junior A), Kilcornan (Junior B) yet everyone has a problem with hospital allowed take 4 kilteely players who would not be playing U21 hurling otherwise..if st johns hadn't come about, killulta gaels would have prob walked the county considering they competed in the county final last year at this grade & lost very few players from that team..i have no problem with amalglamtions but both these teams should be in th A competition

Killulta Gaels are not 3 clubs.Kilcornan no longer have a hurling club and have only 1 player playing for killulta,He has played with kildimo underage from14s and last year signed for kildimo intermediates so he is no longer a kilcornan player.Kildimo/Pallaskenry in one parish so it is similar to combinations of drom broadford and hospital herbertstown. Are these clubs ever going to be split??Killulta played the weekend and out of 15 had 13 Kildimo players and 2 pallas players so cant really be described as 3 different clubs.

Think H/H is different to Kildimo/pallaskenry. Herbertstown has very small population, only one of St John's u21 players is from there - they wouldn't be able to field their own team by any means.both kildimo and pallas have their own adult team so it is not comparable to H/H. H/H have always been the one club

Well marty, this is what can happen when young under age players go to bigger/stronger clubs , sometimes they don't want to come back.

LongD you are died right about hh Pa Jones is the only player from herbertstown and with Daire O Mahony still injured they would only have the bare 15 so they were right to let the kilteely boys play with hh instead of playing 12 aside
