Many of these "supporters" who go over to cheer on their "heroes" in Manchester and other English cities actually boo the same players when they represent England !! Why ?

Scottish league would be more competitive than the Premiership, as results clearly show. One team has won 70% of the premiership titles, I think the best in Scotland is about 45% by Rangers. I believe that 70% means that the premiership is the least competitive league in the World. I think you need to look at Antrim and the Ulster hurling championships for a comparator. And given the disparity in resources, Rangers and Celtic quite possibly have better European records than Manchester United, whose record in Europe is frankly abysmal for a side with those resources. Before you rush to reply think of this. If the Arabs pour mega millions into Man City and they only win two CLs before 2029, do you think Mark Hughes will still be manager?
