sure wats the point in supporting down these days there all a bunch of guttless women, no wonder we dont win anything teams like derry tyrone armagh and monaghan walk all over down physically and then turn round and walk over them again for the fun of it, and sure we never get out of ulster to be walked over by teams like cork kerry dublin meath mayo galway kildare everyone really(and wicklow)! its all well and good saying that down have the talent coming through but unless they strenghten themselves up they'll be as usefull as balls on a bishop? no wonder we have to argue over who is better east or south cause there is certanly no point in fighting downs corner in the intercounty version of my da's bigger than your da, lets be honest it'll be a while yet before down win something worth winning, my best bet is the next sunday there is no mass on, then they'll be good? i wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't posted god-forbid someone in down would actually read the truth for once!

yes, thats why da point beat mayobridge and burren in the championship..and dont say they were un-motivated are some nonsense like that, because evryteam gets motivated when they play championship football..except kilcoo because there just too good!!! :-/

bigbairyhalls.....u seem to know loads about the point teams....lies. The minors put Burren out of the championship, after they had already knocked out Mayobridge (two very talked about teams) and also beat Carryduff, so if you're trying to say W'point didn't deserve to be in the final this year then you're having a laugh! That's like saying kilcoo were lucky to get to the senior final! It seems like you have far too many free periods in school and not enough knowledge to write about anything worth while. Your insight into the w'point club seems to be almost as admirable as your spelling in these posts...keep them coming though, because your grammar is hilarious while you write about are national sport lmao

BluesNeverLose so where exactly in my posts did i say that the point didn't deserve to get to the final, i dont think i said that now lets not be petty just because i've tuched a wee sore spot about the bleek future for your club, that is assumming that bluesneverlose is an ironic pun for warrenpoint! championship football is all about who preforms on the day, not who is the best team, usually the best teams do prevale but in the down minor championship this year there was a surprise package, the point did something that would have been laughed at if you mentioned it at the start of the year! and fairplay to them for it but they were brought down a peg or two by kilcoo in the final cause they had no surprise left in them, and lets be honest it would take a bit more than that to shake that kind of a kilcoo side! although if they had of met earlier than the final maybe they could have pulled off the absolutly unthinkable, see thats the beauty of the championship the best teams dont always win, otherwise they would just pick the best team at the start of the year and have done with it! then the point would have been no were near the final because like i said there not the second best team in the county, as for the seniors i doubt many predicted that kilcoo would have got to the final and they did have luck on their side, surprised bryansford early, the weather played into their hands slightly against the bridge and their management, beat burren fair and square, and lucky loughinisland left their shooting boots at home! but sure everyone needs a bit of luck! but thats just my opinion and since i dont have enough knowledge to comment on anything i would like to hear your view on that post, so i dont waist my time writting uneducated drivel back in my next free period when i get back to school! wouldnt want to waist the study time? nd i rely dnt care bout da spelling, sure if it annoys u dat much report me 2 lynn publications for the absolute disgrace of someone refusing to take the time to proof read there comment before posting it, or you could do something more constructive and figure out a way of getting your club out of division two next year?

a fortress is a metaphorical term, not literal!!! its notting to do with the appearence of the pitch.
