i would be very suprised if that were true spsmarm, maybe there is a ballymartin poster on here who would confirm this. I still find it puzzling that so many of u played soccer the day before the semi final it was such a huge opportunity 4 ur club esp seein how ballymartin done at the wknd. I saw ardglass twice this season and they have some good players definitley underachieving would u not agree

i do agree with you indeed.. but in years gone by concerning play-offs we didn't play soccer on the sat and got beat because we are walkng about on a saturday not knowing what to do and it did us no good. This year we decided to try a different approach and to be honest, it payed of in a way because we give a good account of ourselves but just didnt take our chances.

bigbairyhalls im sorry if i offended you about the grammer school statement (bad day at work)
well if you do go to school im very humbled, as you are quite intelligent with some of your posts. ok i do know that it is quite easy to do few typos here and there so im sorry if i offended you about it, i didn't think you were terrible at spelling by the way, just in case im sory again.
yes you must be typing quite fast to get your messages finished if a period is nearly over.
pe leisure and ict, what a terrible subject choice.

i also agree that its a gaa discussion forum not a spelling test.

Dannymc, its quite ironic how you correct bighairyhalls then go and make a typo yourself lol

So bighairy, was themself's a typo?? You really don't help yourself, go get an "eductaion"
:-)

spsmarms at the end of the day playing soccer the day before the semi-final was wrong.. it was one of, if not the most important day in the clubs history.. my opinion on the game is we had the beating of ballymartin, we were on top in the first half, maybe could have been in front if it wasnt for taking the wrong options on a few occasions.. but footballs a game of two halves and we failled to show up the second half.. i think it was down to tirdness, the boys give everything in the first half but their legs give in second half and ballymartin kept goin.. we could have easily got together on the saturday and done abit of ball work, nothing strenuous..

imnotreal.. keep your petty comments to yourself, how is ardglass' soccer links there for all to see?? ballymartin couldnt handle ardglass in the first half, how has that got to do with soccer ??

derekdavis they're representing Down in Ulster you'd think you'd be behind them and wishing them well, so just because your team( wild guess here, Glassdrumman) arent involved doesnt mean you have to be bitter towards teams doing well.. And if am wrong tell me, but did alot of people not wish glassdrumman well in that publicity cup at the start of the year there?!?

Id like to wish all involved with ballymartin all the best and Goodluck, do us proud !!

cillchuaabu, bigbairyhalls was saying he only made typo mistakes and not spelling mistakes, which everyone makes (including myself as you pointed out), I was merely pointing out that themselfs was not a typo but was in fact a spelling mistake..

i do not mean any disrespect and good luck all the same im just going by what i think? is it so bad for me to put my honest opinion up here? so if you believe they can win it all then you say, but i feel that it will be tough and as with glasdrumman in the final of CB a bit of luck cant do no harm

bigbairyhalls

may i remind you that both warrenpoint minors and U16s got to championship finals this year in which the minors had a bad day at the office and the 16s wer robbed and that the average age of the senior team is around 23, so only good things to come!!

Anti_Burren
a south down final doesnt really count, its more of an all county semi final to be honest, and they didnt even win it, so dat means they'er about the fourth best team in the county! not really somthing to shout about? and there not even that cause burren are better then them and they didnt get to the semi's! dont even start about the minors they are awful! bad day, dont make me laugh they were completely out classed by the best team in the county end of, they werent allowed to play the only reason they go to 6 points is because kilcoo took the foot off with about 10 minutes to go! not many teams who lose a championship final get rememberd but the piont just might be because of how shocking they were? i was at the match and kilcoo didnth even get out of second gear! and dont try to relpy saying then they were the second best team in the county cause everyone knows ther not, they even know themselves? i wouldnt worry bout the seniors anyway sure there average age will be about 26 or 27 before there back in the first division and thats just about average, which is more than i can say about the point as a footballing team!

bighairyhalls you just whipped anti_burren there. i cant add much onto that as everything you said is true.

the best teams in south down at minor level are burren, glenn, mayobridge. warrenpoint wouldnt be in my top five they are pants. best players they have are teague and cunningham was ok in the final too.

he probably thinks the point will be good as they have a new pitch and it wont be seeing division 1 for a few years
