Problem is we have talented midfielder but they are bullied out of matches.Meaney the exception but he is not as good technically as Clancy or Quigley.Clancy has never been same since he was taken out with terrible tackle against Dublin in 2005.

Here here it was a disgrace

If any other Non LAOIS man took that ,he would never rise again

Would it not make sense to give Liam Purcell a try there? He's been playing great stuff with DCU this year, bulked up and still has the speed, why's he not in with the county anyway?

We'd take him in Carlow, it'd certainly make a change with us taking someone elses player instead of the other way around!!

No-one would be queuing up for your players either.. who'd want Beano or Ross Munnelly?

Ranked 32? On what basis?

Footballers - They came 4th in the league and lost by 2 points to Louth in the Championship before giving Donegal a right rattle.
Hurlers - Ranked 11/12th.. better than your lot anyway. Came 4th in Division 2, won the Christy Ring All-Ireland championship where by rights you should be playing next year.

So let's say 27th for the footballer and 12th for he hurlers.. That would make us 20th in joint GAA rankings. We have the 2nd smallest population after Leitrim. I'd call that good going to be fair. And for the footballers the only way is up so we should be higher next year, especially after our hurlers rip your lads apart in Leinster.

That just shows you bad Laois midfielders are, if he's the best.

Yeah u are welcome to him, he's gone backwards anyway, hasn't played well for a while. I doubt he'd get his place ahead of Brendan Murphy and his brother Patrick right now. You can have as many of our rejects as you like. Sure Ambrose Doran couldn't make the Carlow minors and then there he is captaining the Carlow club in your u21 final. Donie kingston couldn't handle the pressure of playing for carlow and having to compete with Murph so he had to take off to leix too. cant wait til our next game so we can Cheerio u crowd.

Donal was annonymous against St Mammans. Surely his chance to shine ? Saw annanough twice this year and couldn't pick one up to county standard and they have five ? WOW !

Just to clarify that from as far as i know Annanough have 3 guys in there training at the moment , Rory Stapleton , John Scully and Donal Miller . In relation to the manmans match i thought Miller was outstanding the first day - he got a lot of dogging off the ball the second day that was not seen by Linesmen or referee and fully deserves his place on the Laois panel .

"Donie Kingston couldn't handle the pressure of playing for Carlow"... man Carps, when all else fails just post complete toss! Usually gets the job done. Best of luck to ye're hurlers next year by the way(apart from the first game), its good to seem them finally being given the chance in the Liam McCarthy.

Carps what you're at is like one of us going onto the Dublin or Kildare websites & telling them what we'll do to them next time! Last time Laois & Carlow faced one another in football or hurling championship (only last year in hurling, a few yrs ago in Football) results were very one-sided. Give over. It's like being mauled by a dead sheep.
