re Breffni 39,
Have to totally agree with you maybe it is a closet thing and as regards to Joe Kernan all you have to say The West Awake at long last.

PoG - rather than worrying about what's going on in Galway football, try coming up with some suggestions to revive the corpse that's Mayo football!

Paddy, paddyo, paddyo me a "dimwitted person" resorting to personal insults. Not at all paddyo ! I posted out of sincere concern for your wellbeing. It is plain to all genuine and worried posters on this site that you are tormented by delusions that have a debilitating and corrosive effect on your critical faculties concerning football. Thankfully this can be easily cured by undertaking a period of reflection under the supervision of Buddhist monks. Your spiritual wellbeing will be greatly enhanced. Who knows, you may even rediscover your sense of humour .
Debate the issues? What issues? This is a thread born of delusion paddyo. Galway football dead? Not at all. Not now and not ever. Joe Kernan will change Galway for the better. His teams were consistently involved in great matches over the past ten years. Have we seen the last of Paraic Joyce? Hopefully not. That will be determined entirely by the great man himself and rightly so. He remains a magnicent footballer who gave me and many like me the greatest of pleasure as we watched him excel on the football field.
Does it not strike you paddyo as being highly ironic that the man who started a thread subsequently called for the selfsame thread to be locked? Now paddyo- breath in deeply through your nose. Clear your mind of those awful delusions. Relax. Let your mind go free. Breathe out. Thats the man. Now breathe in again slowly. Feeling better already paddyo? Imagine what the buddhists would do for you ! Have I not got your best interests at heart?

Why do posters insist on a capital "N" when using the word northern, I have yet to see southern spelt with a "S".
Big Ian would be proud of you.

Well well, your not just delusional but angst ridden as well paddyo. A reply posted at five to three on a Friday morning would indicate strongly that a few little drinkies were on board. Or would it be several large drinks? Anyway now that your back in tip top form maybe you'll reread what I went to endless trouble to put together for your attention. You'll find that football matters are referred to. I'm not looking for a date paddyo as I have a lovely wife and we are currently doing our very best, in these difficult times, to rear our own little family. Speaking of which there's a dinner to be organised.
Finally paddyo once you finish your period of reflection with the Buddhist monks you will need to sort out your perception that everyone wants to invite you out on a date. Not good at all that. Might be another underlying factor in your impaired football judgement.
