tie of the round in my opinion, great history and rivalry between these two clubs id say the winner of this match would take some stopping from going all the way, any thoughts? tyronegael9 (Tyrone) - Posts: 244 - 27/08/2009 19:52:23 406898 Link 0 |

Ardboe by 3 or 4 points Coney and young shay mcguigan have been great additions to ardboe team will be hard to stop this yr Na_Phiarsaigh (Tyrone) - Posts: 15 - 27/08/2009 21:36:10 407004 Link 0 |
With a full team (Mc Mahons and Mc Anulla), coupled with fresh young talent (Grugan, O'Neill) I think Omagh may just squeeze this one. They were unlucky in the league against a strong Ardboe team with Tommy Mc Guigan orchestrating everything. No doubt the referee could have a massive bearing on the game. errigal are extremely overated in my opinion and i think dromore will beat them quite comfortably, everyone seems to be given them extra credit because canavan is the manager! tyronegael9 (Tyrone) - Posts: 244 - 28/08/2009 18:57:13 408048 Link 0 |

I think what tyronegael9 failed to state was that they appear decidedly average without their county men. In fairness their forward division is extremely potent. I would have serious question marks over their full back line. With the inclusion of Enda and Davy they have a lot more steel to be fair. I still believe Dromore will win. However, not comfortably. I heard Cathal Mc Carron is unavailable for the Gardrum Park side?? OmaghGael09 (Tyrone) - Posts: 12 - 28/08/2009 19:36:12 408104 Link 0 |
seen them play against dromore on day 1, seen them against donaghmore in the championship and seen them against omagh in the league, and i just think that they are not as good as people think, full back and full forward line when compared against carrickmore and dromore is not up to scratch. maybe im wrong but im not expecting them to progess to the next round of the championship. tyronegael9 (Tyrone) - Posts: 244 - 28/08/2009 21:47:30 408206 Link 0 |

very tight game.. 1/2 points in it!! have been very impressed with mickey coleman this year, worked really hard and deserves the credit hes getting! budlight (Tyrone) - Posts: 540 - 28/08/2009 22:31:15 408252 Link 0 |
think omagh have the players to win it expecting a very tight game, there will be no love lost between the majority of these players, id say conall mc elholm wud pick up frank mc guigan, justy mc mahon to pick up tommy and hugh gallagher to pick up brian, but midfield is where the game could be won or lost, micky coleman and joe mc mahon should have one hell of a battle, in my opinion i think omagh are getting better all the time and should just shade it! tyronegael9 (Tyrone) - Posts: 244 - 29/08/2009 15:24:13 408570 Link 0 |

It will be tight, but I think that Ardboe have a wee bit extra unfortunately and will win by a couple of points although I hope I am wrong omaghredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 3656 - 30/08/2009 18:16:22 409217 Link 0 |
I think that this game will be won by the team that concedes the least amount of frees. Both Omagh & Ardboe have top quality free takers so neither team will want to give away cheap frees, whether it be close in or far out. Both teams have to ensure that they are very disciplined in their tackling. Ireland09 (Tyrone) - Posts: 34 - 01/09/2009 15:30:34 411751 Link 0 |
