Kerry V Meath Thread - Roll on 2010!!

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Well I have to say that this one is a win/win or lose/lose for me. My two least favourite teams in the country. But I have to say I'm going to be shouting for the neighbours as the lesser of two evils.

Have to say though that the dreaded boredom that we all feared (an all munster final !!! eek eek) is about to be forced upon us!! But maybe Cork will put a bit of life into it though?

It was such a great championship up until now so roll on 2010!!!

Kingdom V Royals! I can't believe we haven't have any cheesy puns. It's a dream for Marty Morrissey.

But will kerry bury the nightmare of the 2001 total capitulation??

I guess Louth when you say you dont like a Kerry Cork All Ireland Fi nal it is like the rest of the country thinking the same when Tyrone Armagh were battling it out. Could be the way for a few years.

good god, someone inform the masses, a hate filled thread by Real Louth Fan... you're a joke, two teams contesting an all ireland semi final and all you can do is complain that you hate these particular teams. a REAL fan, as your very name suggests you are, does not hate ANY county.
in my short enough time on hoganstand i've gotten used to a few posters and its you and your likes making the site annoying. by far the stupidest thread i've ever seen, roll on 2010, when Louth get to a semi so the rest of the country can vent their jealousy through hatred.... oh wait, what am i saying....

by the way i do know that you at no point used the word 'hate' but i felt it was implied with the overall tone of the comment (describing meath as the better of two "evils", accusing munster football of being boring etc)

Pity you can't be honest in your postings. You are a sad troll with several sign on. Do you have confidence issues?

What's your problem with a bit of criticism and truth? The majority of the GAA public (outside of Cork and Meath), including some kerry folk who have gotten of the embarassing hook of being beaten by Tyrone again, wanted a Tyrone V Kerry final. Instead we are guaranteed drudgery!!

I did actually say that I will be cheering for Meath, did I not? Being brutally honest I don't care that much and as a GAA fan that really annoys me as I should care who wins a semi and then the final. But with the 3 left I can hardly contain my indifference and that's not right at this stage of the competition!!

Oh ralf--- Just cos the team you were rooting for didnt win, you think the whole competition is dead now. Even the Tyrone lads in fairness to them wouldnt say that, & they are the ones beaten by Cork.

Grow up Real Louth fan - the best two teams in this years championship will contest the final. tyrone were not good enough for Cork, Dublin were well short of the mark against kerry & well if meath beat kerry then they deserve to be there. If Kerry beat Meath then they deserve to be there also.

Please get shut of your narrow bigoted views & if you are a true GAA fan you will be cheering on both finalists to produce a great final at the end of a great championship & not whinging about who the two actual teams are.

PS: Imagine Cork are Louth in disguise (same jerseys etc. & you might actually enjoy the final.........then again if kerry or Meath win you might not) ....so forget this silly idea of mine
