What do ya mean he's only a good free taker? You give him a sniff at the goals and he'll stick over or in the net. Just because he doesn't play for a team in the south of kildare that means he's not going to make the county. People are just giving their opinion and they get slated for it.

I'm fairly new to this forum lark, but I've enjoyed reading all the postings about last year's team. From the messages I've read on this thread, it looks like Maynooth are the big team to watch out for in the coming minor league/championship. Have they been the most successful team at this age group for the past few years?

GAA_Head09, maynooth are not strong at this age at all,, the two teams to look out for in the comin campaign are naas and athy and maybe leixlip. Athy had 12 starters on this years minor team that are eligable next year, hard to look past them

Naas athy and moorefield will be the teams to look out for. Moorefield were in 2 finals last year in this age group. But naas beat them in both, 1 final were naas beat them bad nd the other final were the won by 1 point some match that was. I dunno were someone is getting lexlip out of.

in fairness leixlip are better next year then they are this year but still not great..moorefield and naas have built up a good rivalry at this age with maynooth athy clane celbridge all there or there abouts.. castledermot might cause a few surprises if the players stick to the football
