as far as i know the captain has to be from the team who won the championship so flip of a coin between liam mcgovern and kevin feely for me.. maybe leaning towards mcgovern because he was involved last year

can any1 tell me wha was the pint of splittin the panel into A and B teams and makin them play obviously the A team is goin be stronger and id say there was a few good players on the B team that didn play to there full potential cause the lads around them arent as good. .the outcome was always obvious on who would win so wha was the pint of it?. .the managers are ment to be encouragin players who might not be as good not makin a fool out of them!

joeyboy, Comerford could win a game by his presence in the midfield! he was the driving force behind the team that beat meath last year and it was him that got everyone goin when the game was in the melting pot so for me he would be the best choice for captain!

i think darroch mullhall won it for them that day..comeford does a realiable job week n week out but you wouldn't call him a match winner..

Mark Donnellan should be the goal keeper. He plays for Cherry Orchard in soccer now who are one of the best schoolboy teams in the country. As for captain i think that Tommy Moolick or Paul Cribbin are the obvious choices. Any one know the opening league fixtures?? I know Leixlip have Celbridge at home bu who else??

I think that as regarding captain ther is many leaders on the team but the leader who would stand out for me is that little doyler fella..he makes himself heard and that's what murphy should be looking for..

in reply to the person who doesnt think mark durkan is good enough for the panel...well he is!he has a great enginee in him and can play some lovely football at times...he may not be the most physical of players but he is well able to kick a point!player to watch out for this season...he will surprise alot of people!
