I have to say I love driving around Cavan. Donegal, Kerry, Connemara and all the coastal counties are nice to drive around, but when you're not driving at the coastlines most counties are dull and monotonous. Driving round Cavan is like a trip to the Shire!!!! lol, drumlins, lakes and rivers every where you look instead of just flat fields like most counties.

396855 In honesty Brendy, there is some very nice places to take a drive in Derry. The background on my computer is a photo I took when driving around the Benone/Magilligan area.

Its from the top of Binevenagh Mountain, overlooking the steep drop that benevinagh can be easily recognised for. You can see benone beach looking out to the Atlantic, Lough Foyle, Magilligan Point and right over to Inis Eoin. If anyones in the area id advise to go looking for that spot.

Only kidding derryledd, & agree with your strabane sentiments. Derry coast is spectacular, if only Tyrone had a coast (apart from Lough Neagh that is)...sigh!

396829 Dingle is decent alright, but I'm surprised no one mentioned The Ring of Kerry?!

Agreed. The Conor Pass is a must-see.

For me it has to be the ring of Kerry especially the Gap of dunloe and the Conor-pass into Dingle - unreal. Parts of Derry and Donegal are also easy on the eye and I suppose the North coast road out of Larne and heading for Waterfoot to the Cushendall, Cushendun area is not bad either. Basically anything involving big mountains!
