drumbaragh were already tru and they wernt really pushed to win. sayin that moylough arnt that bad.. I was at the Kilmainham and Ballinabrackey game and Kilmainham were missin a few players and the ref was gus martyn who awarded 2 goals which were square balls to b'bracky... i didnt tink much of ballinbrackey the ref won it for them... they still have ballivor to play in that group and their a strong team.. i also seen kilmainham play agenst clann na gael in the league in kells.. i tot it was an amazing game of football, and if they play like that they wud win the junior... longwood and dunsany look good in group A but i tnk dunsany cud put up a gud game agenst longwood when they play eachother.. not gud for meath hill they lost to summerhill who lost all 3 games b4 that. slane not lookin too bad in group D.. slim_jim (Meath) - Posts: 26 - 17/08/2009 17:31:32 394736 Link 0 |
SlimJim. Simonstown are undefeated in group D and should qualify having already played Slane Ratoath and Brigids. Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 586 - 17/08/2009 23:49:11 395127 Link 0 |
simonstown hav lost 1 match. its close in that group tho. i tot simonstown still had slane left, if they have the brigids in their last game well then it will leave the final games in that group very interesting. slim_jim (Meath) - Posts: 26 - 18/08/2009 02:07:18 395195 Link 0 |

Ratoath beat Slane last night by 4 points so scenario in that group is InsideTrack (Meath) - Posts: 25 - 18/08/2009 08:16:15 395226 Link 0 |
Didn't Simonstown draw with Ratoath? Ratoath had a strong win over Slane last night. The final round of fixtures should make this a very interesting group. meathexile (Meath) - Posts: 7 - 18/08/2009 09:43:14 395275 Link 0 |
As far as I know Simonstown have qualified for the quarters they played all the big teams in the group and are undefeated, think its a toss up between the other three jokerofthelane (Meath) - Posts: 48 - 18/08/2009 10:15:13 395303 Link 0 |
Simonstown drew with Ratoath and Slane and bet Brigids. They only have to beat Marys. Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 586 - 18/08/2009 11:34:02 395382 Link 0 |
If Slane and ratoath both win their last games, they will be equal on points and it will go down to points difference. Should be interesting as there's only a point difference between the two. LetuceBFrank (Meath) - Posts: 67 - 18/08/2009 11:34:50 395386 Link 0 |

northwest, I think that table is wrong as I think Slane beat Simonstown and Simonstown drew with Ratoath. I think Brigids play Slane, Ratoath play Boardsmill and Simonstown play the Marys in the final round of games, so I think that group is up in the air. Does that mean Simonstown are on 5 points or what? And are Slane on 6 points? Whats going on there?! updaroyal (Meath) - Posts: 1132 - 18/08/2009 12:36:27 395481 Link 0 |
updaroyal - Slane drew with Simnstown LetuceBFrank (Meath) - Posts: 67 - 18/08/2009 12:38:33 395483 Link 0 |
Ok so, but does that mean Simonstown only have 5 points as well because they drew with Ratoath? updaroyal (Meath) - Posts: 1132 - 18/08/2009 12:46:31 395499 Link 0 |
Simonstown have 6 points, 2 wins and 2 draws. But Slane are more or less out because even if they beat Brigids, ratoath will have 7 points also and go through because its not point difference but how teams fared against eachother that is used first. So assuming Simonstown beat St marys they will top the group because St Brigids can only get to 8 points and as Simonstown beat them in first round, Simonstown finish top. Only Simonstown & St Brigids have the group in their own destiny, Ratoath & Slane dependent on upsets InsideTrack (Meath) - Posts: 25 - 18/08/2009 13:00:37 395531 Link 0 |

Inside track - Slane are not out. When teams finish level on points, the below applies. And this is the official Meath document! LetuceBFrank (Meath) - Posts: 67 - 18/08/2009 14:07:17 395622 Link 0 |
