Tipp to destroy Limerick?

Don't mind defeatist lads, he has been the most inaccurate pundit on HS for some time. I don't think he got a hurling match prediction right all year, mainly because his judgement is blinded by resentment. None of us get it right all of the time, but this lad hasn't a clue.

As a Meath man with a Kilkenny mother I have interest in this one, think it will be close enough and there could be a big game in Limerick yet, certainly no pushovers and their game with the Dubs I believe will bring them on. Tipp have great pace and power but Limerick wont fear them, could be a cracker!!!

Al lyour posts make sense mate, my point was that Limerick Waterford drawn game, despite being a shambles of a hurling match, was no worse that other games I've seen over the years. It's hard to judge anything by it. If anything we learned more about ourselves in the replay - we didn't have what it took to beat Waterford when they accelerated away from us in the closing stages.

I'm hoping that does not happen on Sunday. As Tipp have been falling off in the second half of some games, Sheedy will be drilling the point home that if they get a lead, keep it & that could be the difference.

Oh really still bitter after i predicted Galway getting beaten by Waterford oh well get over it. Made a pretty penny off a few Galway men, as they say a Galway man and his money are easily parted. I just posed a question and did not make any predictions and btw its only what everyone else is thinking. For ur information Waterford got beaten handy by Kilkenny on Sunday no matter what any1 says they never had a chance all through the game same as Dublin and Galway. I reckon this poor lad had some weekend and is still depressed 2 weeks later, losing in the football and hurling and all his money at the races ha ha ha.

Defeatest - Don't worry yourself about Limerick and Tipp. You should be more concerned about the welfare of Cork hurling. Leave the All Ireland to the lads who are still in the championship. If we beat Tipp i will get ya a Limerick jersey to wear seeing as you desire this so much.

Defeatest,

one sided games are not always boring. The NHL game this year between Kilkenny & Cork was anything but boring. The 2008 Cork players as they were known, had a 'hurling centre of excellence' as one of the things they were looking for as they sought to oust Gerald McCarthy.

Well they saw a hurling centre of excellence that day, the lads that scored 4-27 against them. My advice to you is enjoy the remainder of the championship and whoever wins it will more than likely be the best team.

I'm hoping there's not going to be another fade out it's very fustrating to watch as a supporter i also hope they come out of the block at full tilt the 5 week brake wouldn't have done them any favours but at least everyone's fully fit (don't think eoin kelly will ever be fully fit until his back condition can be cleared up)

They obviously want Limerick to win for another joke of a final. They will have won all they're games in 2nd gear then. Come on Tipp make the final worth watching for hurlings sake.

I want Tipp to win so we can hammer them. All this talk of easy all-irelands can then be put to bed as well.

I'll still, however, cheer on Limerick.

Maybe you should try and get your own house in better shape and maybe they will be able to challenge the likes of KK, Tipp or Limerick for a place in the All Ireland Final. Until then keep your arrogance comments to yourself. You haven't got a prediction right all year. Your embarassing your great county

lowerormond. The Holy Grail for any All Ireland winning team is to defeat Tipp in the final. For that reason I'll be shouting for Tipp.

finals are about winning & that's what Kilkenny do best. It's good to have got this far in Justin's first year in charge though. It would have been a disaster to go out at anything before the quarter final stage.

You suggest that Kilkenny could win the final V Limerick with ease. Fair point, after last year who could have thought they'd step up from hammering a side by 23 points, only then they went out & did it again in the league 4-27 to 0-16 against a team who always have a strike as an excuse.

Enjoy the rest of the hurling championship, I know exiting the championship before the quarter final in July must have been heartbreaking, especially when you had to buy new shoes after all your marching with the Arthur Scargill's back in January & Feb. Think about it though - none of the sides who have got to the last 3 have gone on any sort of strike this decade. There's a lesson in there is you choose to heed it.

I think most Kilkenny fans are just waiting to see what happens Sunday but any of them I've spoken to are relishing the thoughts of playing Tipp in the final because they'd love to beat Tipp & beat them well. Tipp have a 12-2 record or something like that V Kilkenny in All-Ireland finals and I think the Cats would love nothing more than to win the 4 in a row by dishing out a beating to Tipp.

I just hope we upset all plans and win the game on Sunday. If not, best of luck to both sides.

As a Kilkenny man I'll be shouting for Limerick because as far as I know ourselves and Limerick have no real rivalry but like said in another post I'd love to give Tipp the beating we gave Waterford last year.
