Could we have another 1 sided boring match on our hands where the losers say we played well at the end, if there was more time we might have won lol ya when the winners begun to ease down in gears u mean.

Tipp never play well in Croke Park. They only won once their (against Offaly) since their All Ireland win in 2001

Hard to know if you're having a dig at your own county for their 7 point defeat to Galway or Waterford, who went 2 steps closer to winning the All-Ireland than Cork?

I'm sure Waterford thought the same in '07 and look what happened. Saying that Limerick have been quite poor this year.

A poor limerick team drew with a poor waterford team, I'd tried to forget about that match as it was probably the worst match ever i included junior b, u12 even u8's in that too, but in the last few games limerick are building a head of steam and i don't think either limerick or tipp have produced what they are capable of just yet.

Hope limrick can do it and i'll be shouting for them as they bet laois but i think a tipp killk final would be a more even exciting match.! Oh well all in a day best of luck Limrick!

Well those poor junior B teams beat Tipp in 2007 and 2008 respectively. What does that say for Tipp? Junior C? Cope yourself on lad both teams are capable of magic stuff, Tipp just do it more often. Limerick by 2

re: Mick14

Handy Mick14 i wasn't having a pop can you not agree that that game was dire, that was possible the worst proformance a limerick team has put in as long as i've seen them and i include the offaly game 2008 in that.

Yes Limerick can produce a but all i was saying is that limerick cannot be judged on drawing with waterford as the standard of that game was shocking and both teams played well below what their capable of, please pick up the dummy and put in back in the pram ;)

No problem with you saying that Hag but our worst performance in my lifetime was in 2006 when we lost to Clare 2-21 to 0-10. We were blown away by the Banner, but were beaten before we even started. Some of what went on that day was a joke.

At least this year, in the game you mention, we scored a draw.

But what made that game the worst for me is that both teams played so bad.

True, but I was in the Gaelic Grounds in 1983 when Tipp won their first championship game for 10 years beating Clare 2-11 to 1-11. The game was terrible, the hurling was dire, but it was exciting because it was close. Sometimes that happens, gotta write those games off.

Reality is Tipp have not beaten any team by more than 3 points this year. Yer arrogance and cockiness is unfounded. HAG - i was just responding to your comment on junior b hurling. Perhaps if you didn't make such a comment then i wouldn't have thrown the 'dummy??' out of the pram. Ya it was a poor match, but if you can remember it was also in terrible conditions. The replay was a much better match and although we lost, it was point for point up to the last 5 mins with a tactical error costing us the match.

Mike14 and slayer:

see that is my point you may as well judge the tipp team against the team of 83 as judge limerick on drawing against waterford and saying waterford put it up to Kilkenny. A lot of this goes on in posts saying we so and so and they beat so and so etc. it not the way it works maybe i should have phrased it differently may i change it. Limerick had a bad team preformance and waterford had a bad team preformance on the day dose that calm the waters a bit??? Mick me ould flower i thought the banter was going so well, do you forgive me?

Tipp to win easy, we are only heading to dublin for the day out and to see croke park!!!! Limerick cant hurl, sure arent we being told that all year and surely every tipp person cannot be wrong. I mean come on, a tipp man to be wrong about hurling......surely not!!

in 2001 tipp didnt win by more than 3 points on the road to the all ireland title.this year we haven,t beaten any team by more than 4 points but so what who cares as long as we are winning and scoring scores like 1-19 and 4-14 .killkenny haven,t won by more than 6 points either.
