Yeah, the Cavan home jersey is nice but the away one is better in my opinion(the keepers jersey!)
I think the Mayo one is nice too and the Tyrone away.(used against kildare last week)
I hate the Dublin one and the Donegal.

there is no such thing as an away jersey in GAA, when there is a clash of colours, teams usaually wear their provincial colours, E.G. kildare green

Nothing better than Kildare's all white strip on a sunny day in Croke Park.

Cavan have the nicest jersey (shame about the team though). Also worth a mention Kildare 2nd strip, Wicklow 2nd strip, Mayo, and Fermanagh's isnt bad either.

Since I was a young kid, i have always been fascinated by the Carlow jersey. I Remember a National League Game I suspect it was in the late fifties in the old Athletic Grounds in Cork (Later rebuilt as Pairc Ui Caoimh) Cork and Carlow, I was extremely confident of victory but Carlow hammered Cork on the day. Its a game I had long forgotten but this thread brought it back to my mind. I don't know if the archival records of national League games of that period exist, I'd like to know when the game was played and the score , just to check whether my childhood memory is accurate.

gggg Oneills are doing numbered jerseys but only for 10 counties, cork kerry killkenny tipperary Dublin Armagh Derry Tyrone Down Antrim. Outside these you'd hafta get hold of someone who was on a county panel or knows someone who was to get them for ya. Ive a good few of the rare ones myself, like the green kildare jersey numbered, white amargh longsleeve numbered, blue monaghan numbered, yellow lietrim numbered, yellow cavan keepers & so on. Getting harder to get em tho.

dhorse - technically there probably isnt an away strip as such, in my expereince its more likely, especially in club games, that the home team will change their strip in the event of an clash of colours (easier access to another strip). Most counties/club have two colours and they would just swap them around, ie Monaghan traditionally play in white with a white strip, their change strip is blue with a white trim (but to muddy the waters Monaghan played in Blue for the chamionship/qualifiers this year. I have never seen an Ulster county play in the Ulster provincial colours. Maybe Kildare play in their provinical colour beacause they only have one colour, white.

I love the Dublin jersey and the Red Derry top, though I could never bring myself to wear the latter

and the Down top. the old Kildare jersey without all the writing all over it
