Glenswilly turmoil

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

tried to post here yesterday, but didnt get put up. there is a new development on this topic regarding one member of this group of players.it occurred on the morning of the ardara game. maybe a player from ardara could shed some light on it? suffice to say that its not surprising which member it was. also seems one person leading the "revolt" .same person perhaps?

Sorry Lucky:

Most of us on here find cryptic messages hard to comprehend. I can understand why you might have to post in cryptic code when messages dont get posted but I cant make head nor tail of this one.

Tried to post on here yesterday but it wasn't put up.
Some players are going and some players are staying. Some of the players that are staying aren't speaking to each other and there's just a general lack of good feeling in the club at the minute. It won't be healed next year when they're in Division 2, but the next year when they're in Division 3 and the Intermediate Championship they might come together. Sad state of affairs all caused by one man, and he's not one of the players.

laads just because your postal address is letterkenny doesnt mean your from there or in that gaa catchment area.all of termon has letterkenny as its address , yet no termon man could or would play for eunans /gaels.glenfins postal address is lifford. traditionally bomany / letterleague has always been in glenswillys catchment area. what area was brendan devenney in when when he signed for eunans?

We are not talking about postal address here lucky we are talking about part of Letterkenny as for Devenny thats old news the fact is simple Murphy is from Letterkenny and I don't give a hoot who he plays with thats his choice.

And Lucky tradtion in that area was always Eunans as the Glen only formed in the eighties Eunans are 80years old next year the main point is its Letterkenny same as Bunagee or Lurgybrack which means nore than a postal address we arn't that stupid.

The majority of the glenswilly - Bomany, Newmills, foxhall and parts of brennagh has a letterkenny postal address. SO WHAT?

Bonner should remain with Glenswilly but for Murphy I think he should move.

He is a genuine talent and one of a kind for this county and one we have not produced since tony boyle or a martin mchugh.

For his sake he should move to Eunans.

Nothing against Glen but there is always too much controversy

No but as a letterkenny person I know my hometown and its area and Bomany is to Letterkenny what Cappry and Seissoneill is to Ballybofey so I'm sorry to inform you that on this one the net is correct and further more Glenswilly as a place starts out beyond New Mills Bridge.

Whatever Murphy does is up to himself personally I think he should stay with the Glen as he is an excellant role model for the youth out there the point that was made here was that he comes from part of Letterkenny and would tell you that himself.
