aabb, James isn't consistent enough, he hit a couple of incredible points v Monaghan the first time, had an excellent game v Monaghan the 2nd time and played well although he went missing for long peroids v Donegal, give him a couple of years but he has had a good enough debut year. Sean Cavanagh hasnt hit the top form yet, Well AABB how was my team predictable? Orlaith (Derry) - Posts: 4282 - 04/08/2009 12:18:53 376695 Link 0 |
No Mondred no Sean Cavanagh, not yet anyway. If tyrone retain their AI and he improves on his performances he will be there no doubt. Then it will probably be 12 Tyrone men and three boys - M McCann, Cunningham and young Loughrey from Antrim. Thats what it should be anyway. Niamh If there are three derry players on it, it will be a complete disgrace and a kick in the teeth for Antrim regardless. It will just go to show how biased and up their own ***** Derry supporters are. You can say that I am biased for selecting a lot of Tyrone boys but on August 3 we qualified for the AI QF again and are opne game away from our sixth final apperance. That is right six. Well its their opinion so why is people making a big deal about it? They asked who would be your all stars! I would respect it if people could say their own opinion with out getting told off and told who should be on it Orlaith (Derry) - Posts: 4282 - 04/08/2009 12:52:15 376793 Link 0 |

We met Tyrone one game earlier that Antrim did but the result was still the same. Your sheer bitterness for Derry is showing through, Geard O Kane and Paddy Bradley deserve to be on the team, Geard O Kane has been outstanding all year and Paddy Bradley has scored 3-14 this year with 3-9 of that coming from play. So I think that merits their inclusion on this team. I have explained my reasons for Barry Gillis inclusion, perhaps you could explain yours for Pascal Mc Connell? He started in game and conceded a goal in it! How would it be a kick in the teeth for Antrim, I have included 4 Antrim boys in my selection. Also I never said anything about choices of Tyrone players, they deserve it for their performances to date. Niamh (Derry) - Posts: 2397 - 04/08/2009 13:08:45 376823 Link 0 |

Rf, too many Donegal boys on that pick- three more than turned up to play on Sunday in fact. aabb (Tyrone) - Posts: 65 - 04/08/2009 13:44:38 376886 Link 0 |
Joe McMahon has been Tyrone's most consistent player this season and deserves an ulster all-star at least for his glaring ommission from the nationals last year milo (Tyrone) - Posts: 238 - 04/08/2009 14:01:42 376911 Link 0 |
Not really much case for any Monaghan men to be included if wer are being honest. Freeman played 1 game and was relatively poor for his standards. Dermot McArdle has been fantastic all year but got taking to the cleaners by Eoghan Bradley in Clones.. I def would not be putting Vincent Corey in there either it has been his worst year in a Monagahn jersey for quite sometime. There may be a case for Dermot McArdle but nobody else could get a look in and I dont even think McArdle would start.. topman500 (Monaghan) - Posts: 294 - 04/08/2009 14:30:32 376951 Link 0 |
