Its that time again!!

**I am aware some players are out of position, however as far as I am aware it is just 6 defenders and 6 forwards regardless of position**

1. Barry Gillis (Aside the Donegal game he has been excellent all year including the league, this was a difficult place to fill as no Ulster goalies have stood out. To be honest, Gillis probably doesn't deserve as I said before no other keeper had stood out.)

2. Dermot Mc Ardle- Monaghan
3. Karl Lacey - Donegal
4. Ryan Mc Menamin- Tyrone
5.Philip Jordan- Tyrone
6. Tony Scullion- Antrim
7. Geard O Kane- Derry

8. Kevin Hughes- Tyrone
9. Michael Mc Cann- Antrim

10. Martin Penrose- Tyrone
11. Michael Murphy- Donegal
12. Tomás Mc Cann- Antrim
13. Stephen O Neill- Tyrone
14.Paddy Bradley- Derry
15. Paddy Cunningham- Antrim

Honourable mentions...

Aaron Kernan
Tommy Mc Guigan
Eoin Bradley
Conor Gormley
Seanie Johnston

That leave me with

Tyrone- 5
Antrim- 4
Derry- 3
Donegal- 2
Monaghan- 1

OWEN MULLIGAN has been a work horse for Tyrone this year surly he should be on the list.

Colm McFadden would be the only other Donegal man that might've been in with a shout but cant' really argue with that team.

45, I was deliberating over him, he was poor in a few matches, had a good game yesterday though. Suppose much like our own PB..should put him in honourable mentions!

Sean Cavanagh to date has been under par, he was good in the Ulster final but non existent in the 2 matches prior to it and was well marked yesterday. So thats why he isn't on my team.

Is this team based solely on the Ulster Championship or is it a team of players who performed well in the All-Ireland series as a whole?

Got to disagree with you Muggsy had a great Ulster final playing out of position he was asked to do a job of play maker which he did I think he's playing his best football in a Tyrone shirt since 2005.

The entries have to be in for the 15th of August so i assume all games played before that date.

Yes i agree with that. An yes Penrose is a player who dont get a real mention for his play for Tyrone with setting up alot of scores, winning alot of ball and alot of pace and workrate. But the forward of the year so far to date has to be young Michael Murphy of Donegal, he has suone talent. Never seen a player who catches the ball with one hand and holds of the defender with the other, just top class. . .

Is that not last years player of the years's defining feature?
