Colin, we are commenting on the Dubs as a whole (as we saw it today) and not at any particular poster on the site.
Yes, some posts are harsh. Others are understandable.
I've only been to hurling matches with the dubs as Limerick don't meet the footballers very often.
But from what I saw today, you cannot find an excuse to condone some actions made by the Dub supporters.
I have said it already to the ones that are honest and loyal, I salute you. But to the ones that booed donaghy and their own players (and they were preety loud boos coming from my tv!), they should be ashamed of themselves.

Dellboypolecat - I am not wrong. He definetly struck the Dublin player with a closed fist and THEN he pulled the Kerry player away. But should he have been near the play?

i find this most recent humiliation of Dublin at this stage distinctly depressing. In previous years I would be having orgasms at the sight of a Dublin humiliation but I am bored of it now. I actually wanted Dublin to win this years championship. It would be good for gaelic football and there is only so many times you can look at men in sky blue who have thrown in the towel before half time and Ciaran WHelan swinging elbows in pathetic frustration.

Dublin deserve the abuse they get since when there winning there the first to be gloating in opposition faces.think whelan should of been sent off 2day aswell pure bad behaviour from him and has got away with kind of behaviour to many times.

A snap poll would suggest that Meath supporters seem to be getting the most mileage of out todays result (understandably given the local rivalry) followed closely by Mayo (I just dont get the supporters from that part of the world, I really dont know what makes yous tick).

Its followed by mayo because that is exactly what mayo got, and largely from dub posters, when they were hammered by kerry. It wasnt such an issue then for some reason. Its all part of it. The more 'Leave the dubs alone' or 'take it easy on the dubs' threads that start up the worse it is going to get. Will ye ever just shut up and take ye'r beating? Also, this scum thing that is flying about, i have yet to see anyone calling the dubs scum on here, all i see is dubs saying it happened. What thread is it on??

the media have a lot to do with why lots of neutrals dont like dublin, every year its all about how the dubs are going to win sam and they seem to ignore the other 31 counties in ireland compared to the amount of stuff about dublin thats in them.
as for the supporters, they aren't all bad but just look at how they reacted down at the hill when kieran donaghy was being interviewed at half time, theres not another bunch of supporters in the country who would have booed him that much, that shows what some of them are like.

Can't understand how some of the dublin fans on here are defending the actions of others. If you're a true fan you should be embarrassed by these fans, and not want to associate yourself with them. I see Derry fans doing thing that are unsporting some times and it sickens and embarasses me, leaving before the final whistle, not even turning up etc etc etc

And to be honest, ye's dont half hype yourselves up. I hate to make the comparrison but the closest thing it resembles is the english media and they're team, and we all now how much satisfaction we take , yourselves included, when they crash or burn. So maybe taht will help you understand it.

I can honestly say that the dublin fans are among the best fans if not the best in Ireland, any game I've been at they have been nothing but corteous and they supported their team until the end yesterday apart from avrew who cannot be blamed for leaving early. There is such a thing as a bad winner too. They did not boo during the minutes silence, the noise came from people entering croker who weren't aware of the minutes silence.

No problem here with Dubs fans, ask any Meath man and he will generaly agree. Can't understand why so many dubs fans leave so early when things are not going well.

Diego....

I think all teams have fans who leave early when they are sure they have lost.
Its not unique to Dublin at all.

Always a sign you have it in the bag when you see the opposition fans making their way out

Hard luck on Dublin yesterday, they are better than that. I can't believe there are Mayo posters on this topic having a go at Dublin when we have been hammered by Kerry so many times. There is a small amount of Dub fans on the hill that shout abuse etc but the majority are genuine fans like every other county. Kildare and other counties boo at games aswell. Where would the Gaa be without Dublin fans filling Croke park at least 4 times a year.

You are completely wrong Connolly i was sittin there right in front of it and it was Darragh o'Shea who had the clenched fist up to griifins face,Donaghy clearly pulled him out of it.
