mchammer County: USA Posts: 41 467609 no if you are good enough you wil be on the team like if you were goin to help the team why wouldn he pick you.think about it if you were goin to benefit the team in any way you would of been pick you sound jealous to me. well who from the south of mon should of been on last years minor team??????????????? is peter o hanlon not from carrick he was on the team,conor gormely from donaghmoyne,robert lorenz inniskeen, just stop complainin killanny 09. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yeah those 3 lads are from south Monaghan, but not one of them got a second of championship football this year. They werent even togged out for the Armagh game.

Every man got a chance, it was up to the clubs to submit players for trials and if they turned up they wuld have got maybe 2/3 games to prove themselves same as every1 else! As for the 3 boys named above.. Peter was very close to the team if not on it but choose to go to america to play basketball, Robert nd Coner wer both injured for the majority of the year and only got back trainin one r two weeks before the championship! Killany09 hasnt named any1 yet who shuld hav been on it? Marty Hanly mayb?? class player bu wuld choose soccer in a flash over GAA!

Peter wasnt as close as youd think, if he was then how come he didnt get on for a few minutes of the Derry game? Fair enough Robbie was injured but Conor was only injured for two weeks and was well fit to play. The management threw him to the dogs by giving his place to younger players who only came onto the team; he didnt even get to tog out after his years work in training.
