sam09, i remember, i was in the corner of the davin and it was electric, i also felt it at last years quarter final when they scored their goal, i didnt realise how many dubs where in croker that day until that goal was scored and the roof near came of croker....
then on the night of the 125th celebration under the lights the dubs where making their fight back and bernard brogan hit a nice point, i'm not a big fan of the metropolitans behaviour in and out of croke park on gaa days but i have to say they bring something different to this organisation that you have to appreciate.

1: The Kerry V Kildare home final of 1903 which established Gaelic football as a spectator sport over 3 games with increased interest for each one.

2: Ulster winning the Railway Cup for the first time in 1942 to establish that there was indeed Gaelic footballers in the six counties.

3: Antrim's appearance in the 1943 hurling final, to establish that there were hurlers north of Dublin.

Donegal Point of view.

- The final whistle in McHale Park 2003. Anyone who was there will understand.

- Winning the League in 2007. People may sneer as its 'only a bleeding league title' but im a realtivley (mid 20's) young fella and growing up following donegal we've seen us win nothing. Heart ache after heart ache. Finally seeing us win anything was special.

- Having the Sam Maguire come through the front door in 92.

- Armagh winning the All-Ireland in 2002, seemed to me thats what it'd be like If Dionegal ever were to win it. A explosion of emotion noise and colour. McGeeney dropping to his Knees with the ball. Stunning

- Peter Canavan lifting Sam. Always had a soft spot for tyrone and especially Canavan. Made up.

-Mulligans Goal Vs Dublin. The best goal ive ever seen.

PETER CANAVAN'S SPEECH WHERE HE COMPARED TYRONE TO THE BRISTISH ARMY THAT WHEN THEY CROSSED THE BOARDER THEY HAD NO POWER "I THINK WE HAVE GOT SOME POWER NOW".

OWEN MULLIGANS GOALS AGAINST DUBLIN ,WHEN WE NEEDED A LIFT IT GIVE IT TO US AND THE REST IS HISTORY.

ANY MAURICE FITZGERALD SIDE LINE POINTS.
