Dellboy, you just dont get it do you.

What age are you? Do you think it's that cool to stay in Hotels? Is it such a thrill to you to get your scrambled eggs every now and again that you think every person on the planet would be happy moving to a hotel whenever someone decides they want to dismantle a hundred ton of scaffolding in your bedroom.

Quit while you can.

The point is nobody would be on their side if croke park had the decency to take the stage down but stop working during the night to allow people get their sleep in their own beds like anyone should be entitled to or want other than DELL who aboviously would love a night away in a hotel.

I usually don't have sympathy for people that live so close to grounds as more often than not they have moved to the area after the stadium was there and still have access to get tickets because they live there. On this occasion i have to agree with the residents not due to the times of the show or crowd as that comes with it but the times the workers are dismantling the stage in. They are working non-stop for 48 hours as the stage needs to be flown and assembled in Gothenburg for Friday night's show. Surely most people will agree that is not fair and how would you like work like that with the noise for 48hours non stop!!!

The residents get no sympathy from me. Every time there's a match on theyre out in front of their houses moping about making sure nobody sits on their wall and whinging if someone throws paper or cans in their gardens. Spoils the day for everyone.

Spot on..the residents were treated very badly by the GAA in my opinion and deserve to have a pop at them....!

Those little cottages outside the Cusack Stand were there long before a ball was ever kicked in a Place they call Croke Park!!

Sure maybe the residents of north mayo should move away from the Corrib gas pipe works!!

Maybe the residents of South Armagh should have moved away when the watchtowers went up!!

Cop on ye fools!

We live in a democracy!......Long live the right to peaceful protest!

I really hope a lot of these posts are tongue in cheek! A little disruption is to be expected, but round the clock work? of course they should complain.
And move into a hotel, solve all problems! are you for real? sure, just pack the whole family off whether it suits or not, you have no say in it! that has
to be a joke. as for a few tickets, you think thats alrite then-just shut up and go to the concert! okay then, i'll have my life disrupted for the whole weekend for those precious tickets! cop yourselves on!

i even saw some guy saying the residents sittin outside complaining if rubbish is thrown in his garden was ruinin his wkend! this has to be most ridiculous comment ever!

the gaa are totally at fault for their ridiculous lack of planning, and should be held to account by losing the wkend to football in croker. I was disappointed the residents gave in so easily, maybe if the gaa had lost some profit they'd pay some heed to the real people who matter, gaa members all over the country, and not just themselves.

the croke park residents are always complaining. I remember i was on my way down to croke park for a game a few years ago. I was caught by a call of nature and needed to go badly. So i stepped into someone's front garden for a quick tinkle and some buck came running out of the house and went bad. I had to stop mid-tinkle which as anyone knows is not easy

do dublin people feel they need to defend and respect the residents just because they are dubs ? dont remember this to be the case at the leinster final with the smell of urine down every street leading to the hill, every protester that entered croke park should have been arrested and brought up to fitzgibbon street, but sure then again the gaa cant ever seem to keep the dubs off the pitch
