Why on earth have the Co. Board arranged the NCW V Caherline game for a Friday night at 6.30?

Have they any consideration for people working outside of limerick, what would be the harm in having it at 6.30 on the Saturday night. (oh ya clashes with Fair City).

Once again the Co. Board have let themselves down, cannot do anything right...............................

Who knows, Glenrou have been distracted with the exploits of their senior Footballers as have NCW.

Personally I think Knockaderry will win, but I hope Glenroue pull it off. Has Don Hanley been dropped by Limerick Intermidate?

Teams that play hurling alone have a major advantage over the teams that play top level (Senior or Intermidate) in both grades
Final Point Gerry M services next season will go to the hightst bidder!! Not worth the money JP

Bruff to win vs Cappamore
NCW to win vs Caherline
Glenroe to win vs Knockaderry
Mungret to win vs St Liberties

Great games and looking forward to next weekend. At least county board decided to play them on saturday and people will be able to watch the all-ireland. Anyone know if its an open draw for the semis and when will they be played??

On the Don Hanley point i believe he has opted out on hes own accord. He has been in sensational form in last month or so that i ve seen him vs ballybrown and ballybricken. Also for the gaels he was outstanding vs croom. He would have been great additon to tom team but i guess you have to admire hes dedication to the club if that why he opted out. Pity the rest of hes teammates let him down so much.

Caherline to hammer a very average NCW(not one representative on the poor W Gaels team even). When you consider the population of ncw its embarrasing really.Knockaderry, with 10% of NCW pick, a much better and more accomplished side.

Ya socks i would agree with your point condon is a superb servant to knockaderry, altho i feel he has shown a bit of dis interest since they moved him to midfield which is a shocking move. The lad is a born back man. Half back is condons best position and why he isnt played there is mystery to me and lot more followers around the west. Espically as they are weakest in half back line....like i mean what do the management be looking at!
The goalie is really class as iv stated before o sullivan is hes name socks ur rite....why he isnt on gaels setup another shocker(a divisional setup to help young hurlers in west get a crack at senior, not a 40 yr goalie who fumbled 4goals against d well last year to send club down junior)...dont get me started on molyneaux tho!!
I d idnt mean to lumb them all in wit lettin hanley down great full back line as well...and in fairness the sullivans(dont know how many them on team) always try their best and have the heart for it. But 7-8 lads wont win a county, sadly.

In response to this message, In relation to not 1 NCW player on the Western Gales side, This is true and is because unlike Knockaderry , Castlemahon, Rathkeale, we don't have a selector to pick our own players. There are plenty of NCW players good enough for the Western Gales but they decided not to attend training or make themselves available for selection.

In terms of Knockaderry a much better and more accomplished side: This is the FIRST year that Knockaderry have made the Quarter Finals of the IHC since prob 1980's? (Correct me if I'm wrong). NCW have suffered badly by loosing some good players to OZ in the last 3 years (5 of 2006 Championship team are now in OZ). NCW have made every QF except for last year since 2002. NCW beat Knockaderry last year in the West Championship when they met.

In terms of starting a rivalry on this page it's pointless. As I hardly believe you are from Knockaderry.

Best of Luck to NCW and Knockaderry in the Intermediate Championship this year and hope they both meet in the County Final which would surely draw a full house.

I really do believe Knockaderry will beat Glenroe with 5 or 6 points to spare eastgael. They have more hurlers than glenroe and will match them for fitness hence making scores hard to come by for glenroe who struggle to score freely in games when pressure is applied!Just my opinion.

I'm sure its not a foregone conclusion by any stretch midfieldman. Neutrels are expecting a close entertaining game.

Andrew brennan and Eamonn hourigan no 6 are good hurlers at this level Westoutcast but I BELIEVE NCW will be too strong for them personally.
