Round 3 Predictions
Group 1
Knockaderry to beat Ballybricken
Ballybrown to beat Mungret

Knockaderry will top the group deservedly with Ballybrown filling 2nd spot and Mungret in the relegation semis...again.

Group 2
Pallas to beat South Liberties
Glenroe to beat Monaleen

My Shock of the Rnd,Pallas to beat Liberties and if Glenroe beat Monaleen, which they should, liberties out.

Group 3
Newcastle West to beat Cappamore
Hospital to beat Kildimo

Newcastle and Hospital to progress

Group 4
Caherline to beat Bruff

Bruff are favorites to beat Caherline and it will be a tight game but the fact both teams are guarenteed a 1/4 final berth makes this game a little less do or die. Caherline are underdogs, and thats when i'd fear them most. Saw Ballybricken play Mungret and if they play with the same determination they'll be there abouts come the final whistle.Knockaderry are a team on the up as Ballybrown found out to their cost. Lets see ye're predictions lads, worse thing that can happen is your wrong.

Round 3 Predictions
Group 1
Knockaderry to beat Ballybricken (Just about)
Ballybrown to beat Mungret (Easy Win)

Group 2
South Liberties to beat Pallas (S. Liberties to pull it out of the Bag, have peaked too early in previous years)
Glenroe to beat Monaleen ( Glenroe to win, Depends on M. O'Brien playing well)

Group 3
Newcastle West to beat Cappamore (NCW all ready qualified, might have a eye on QF, tight game)
Hospital to Draw Kildimo (Very even teams, depends on where Rale playes, not a half forward as proven in last round)

Newcastle and Kildimo to progress

Group 4
Bruff to beat Caherline (hard to call, could go either way)
Kileedy to beat Patrickswell (Dog fight, hoping P.Well win. Killedy will be Junior A in 2 years time)

Quarter final line up looking good. When are these games fixed for ??

Who are favoutites at this stage.
IS this the first time Knockaderry have got to the QF in the Intermidate Championship?

I still fancy Ballybrown to win it, possibily beating NCW in the Final.

P/Well and Mungret in the Monaleen in the Relegation Final.

WestOutCast I agree with all your predictions but think Ballybricken might pip Knockaderry, heard Knockaderry might have taken there eye off the ball after beating Ballybrown, think they could be complacent, my quarter predictions are:

Ballybrown V Glenroe
Ballybicken V South Liberties
NCW V Caherline
Hospital V Bruff

Think you could be rite that Ballybrown have got there wake up call, think it will be either them or bruff to go up Senior, probably Ballybrwn as conditions will suit them more by the time the semi finals and final are played

West outcast reale score 3 points from play in 25 minutes and created 5 converted frees if there goalkeeper pucked the ball out to him in second half they would have won handy no need to say any more. If i was from hospital i would be sick

Heard Games could be brought forward a week, weekend of 25th,26th,27th of July. Is this a possibility?

up the anty: Reale is a class act but half forward does not suit him plain and simple. I was at the last HH match and he was average playing clearly out of position.

surely if HH are to progress then they will have to start playing their star player in more central positions like No 3, 6, 8-9 or 11.

Also I have heard that the next round of the championship is on the August weekend. 1, 2 or 3 of August. with the QF on the 10 August.

Actually Peckory my club is senior not junior, if all in well in the Knockaderry club how come they have lost one of there better players to another code in the middle of the championship???? A man who has played well for them over last 2-3 years anytime I have seen them play, suppodely not getting on with management team, still think that Ballybricken will pip them, although must admit there 2 County U21 players Condon & Hanley played well for Limk U21's last Thur night, especially Condon, very solid performance, also a nice bit of toughness to his game that I hadnt seen before. But these 2 boys can carry the team on there own all the time.Heard next round is wk'end of Aug 10th with quater finals the following weekend.

batman, losing a man to play league of ireland soccer i would think is fair enough. i hear everything is nice and steady. and that player you are talking about played a challenge game last weekend with knockaderry so its still a bit up in the air yet!

Ah batman sorry to burst your bubble again but Knockaderry haven't lost anyone to another code. The player in question has been signed up by a soccer club but played a challenge last Sunday for knockaderry and is training with them too! I see this is the third time in a row that you tipped Knockaderry to be beaten. If you keep this tactic up you will eventually be right but its very petty really. I reckon if they were playing a junior B team in the morning you would tip the junior b team. Some mothers do ave em.

Seems strange that all the games are on in two weeks time. What has been the delay from the last round games? Very fustrating for clubs to keep momentum going I would imagine.

Having looked at the fixtures right across the board. Likelihood it that the next round of the IHC will be totally dependant on how Limerick Senior Footballers get on. If they win this weekend they are scheduled to play again on the 2/3/4 August. So the most likely scenario is that the 3rd round will be played on the 10th August. The next round of the senior football championship is then scheduled for 17 and 24 August.

Likely hood is :
Next round 10 August
QF W/k end 30 August

And after that then your guess is as good as mine.

Bit of a joke the county board dint provide alternative dates on the master fixture list when issued at the start of the year.

Also who from Knockaderry is going playing league of soccer?? Can't be anyone too good of a hurler anyway!!!!
