Bruff are favorites to beat Caherline and it will be a tight game but the fact both teams are guarenteed a 1/4 final berth makes this game a little less do or die. Caherline are underdogs, and thats when i'd fear them most. Saw Ballybricken play Mungret and if they play with the same determination they'll be there abouts come the final whistle.Knockaderry are a team on the up as Ballybrown found out to their cost. Lets see ye're predictions lads, worse thing that can happen is your wrong. eastgael (Limerick) - Posts: 629 - 16/07/2008 12:17:35 49420 Link 0 |
knockaderry will beat ballybricken.Interestingly if they do so by 7 points and mungret beat ballybrown mungret qualify. aragones (Limerick) - Posts: 28 - 16/07/2008 13:24:33 49549 Link 0 |

WestOutCast I agree with all your predictions but think Ballybricken might pip Knockaderry, heard Knockaderry might have taken there eye off the ball after beating Ballybrown, think they could be complacent, my quarter predictions are: batman (None) - Posts: 177 - 16/07/2008 18:11:55 49867 Link 0 |

Welcome back Batman.Hope the West junior chamoionship is going ok for you.Knockaderry bashing again I see.You are going to be disappointed again and if anything they have got better again by all accounts.Flying in training and excellent atmosphere in panel I hear. peckory (Limerick) - Posts: 46 - 17/07/2008 08:15:07 50081 Link 0 |
West outcast reale score 3 points from play in 25 minutes and created 5 converted frees if there goalkeeper pucked the ball out to him in second half they would have won handy no need to say any more. Heard Games could be brought forward a week, weekend of 25th,26th,27th of July. Is this a possibility? eastgael (Limerick) - Posts: 629 - 17/07/2008 11:09:23 50226 Link 0 |
up the anty: Reale is a class act but half forward does not suit him plain and simple. I was at the last HH match and he was average playing clearly out of position. WestOutcast (Limerick) - Posts: 262 - 17/07/2008 16:25:22 50592 Link 0 |
Actually Peckory my club is senior not junior, if all in well in the Knockaderry club how come they have lost one of there better players to another code in the middle of the championship???? A man who has played well for them over last 2-3 years anytime I have seen them play, suppodely not getting on with management team, still think that Ballybricken will pip them, although must admit there 2 County U21 players Condon & Hanley played well for Limk U21's last Thur night, especially Condon, very solid performance, also a nice bit of toughness to his game that I hadnt seen before. But these 2 boys can carry the team on there own all the time.Heard next round is wk'end of Aug 10th with quater finals the following weekend. batman (None) - Posts: 177 - 20/07/2008 08:42:57 51835 Link 0 |

batman, losing a man to play league of ireland soccer i would think is fair enough. i hear everything is nice and steady. and that player you are talking about played a challenge game last weekend with knockaderry so its still a bit up in the air yet! pigseye (Limerick) - Posts: 80 - 23/07/2008 12:57:02 54734 Link 0 |
Ah batman sorry to burst your bubble again but Knockaderry haven't lost anyone to another code. The player in question has been signed up by a soccer club but played a challenge last Sunday for knockaderry and is training with them too! I see this is the third time in a row that you tipped Knockaderry to be beaten. If you keep this tactic up you will eventually be right but its very petty really. I reckon if they were playing a junior B team in the morning you would tip the junior b team. Some mothers do ave em. depeche (Limerick) - Posts: 40 - 23/07/2008 13:17:31 54762 Link 0 |
Seems strange that all the games are on in two weeks time. What has been the delay from the last round games? Very fustrating for clubs to keep momentum going I would imagine. invir (Limerick) - Posts: 11 - 23/07/2008 13:31:51 54782 Link 0 |
Having looked at the fixtures right across the board. Likelihood it that the next round of the IHC will be totally dependant on how Limerick Senior Footballers get on. If they win this weekend they are scheduled to play again on the 2/3/4 August. So the most likely scenario is that the 3rd round will be played on the 10th August. The next round of the senior football championship is then scheduled for 17 and 24 August. WestOutcast (Limerick) - Posts: 262 - 23/07/2008 14:50:11 54897 Link 0 |
