365031 toma007 ..your the same fella who was predicting a 15point win for the dubs in the leinster final..we are dublin we believe..what drivel.and as for hyping up our team thats one thing where we wouldn't quite be in the same league as you dublin fans...i asked you to name 5kildare players in the lead up to the leinster final and not once were you able to..in fact even after the game i'd say it would still be a struggle for you.your perfectly entitled to your opinion and this is the forum where you choose to voice it..problem is you really don't have a notion about kildare ...............................I dont claim to know anything about Kildare football-i follow there games the same as any other county teams---bomber i was taking the ----- out of Kildare because of the likes of you.We Are Dublin Believe

should be a great game not the game of the quarters we all know which one that is.tyrone by1or2, would not be shocked by a kildare win though .Don't knock kildare for beating wicklow, wicklow took scalps and should be respected for it

wfkerry County: USA Posts: 178 365203 Kildare are in for a hammering struggled to put Wicklow away who had only one decent foward The Tyrone fowards will take them to the cleaners Kildare full back line very poor no place for a ballet dancer Whos the ballet dancer wfkerry? Are you talking about Hugh McGrillen? The man of the match alongside Earley on Saturday????? I've noticed your posts over the last few weeks. You have a problem with Kildare for some reason.

patrique , neither tyrone or kildare are " traditional powerhouses " or " newcomers "
hokeypokey , Smith, Doyle and Kavanagh may have 57 between them, but the rest of the team have 41 between them..... a year or 2 ago, most of the kildare panel couldnt hit a barndoor from 10 yards , but all that has changed. the team are scoring freely , and scoring some fantastic points at that. im not saying we will stop Tyrone from scoring , far from it, on their day they are immense and im a big fan of Dooher , Mulligan , McMenamin and O'Neill - but 7 points in 3 games for him is hardly earth shattering stuff now is it? Hes one of the best forwards in the country when he wants to be and if hes on form on Sunday our defence wont be able to halt himself or Mulligan, but our forwards are well drilled on neat interchanges and knockdowns , and wether we win or lose , they will still do damage to Tyrone . 98 points in 5 games - nuff said ...... enjoy the game , no matter the result it will be a cracker!

No chance this is tie of the round, the Tyrone lads would want to go on a bender from now til Sunday for Kildare to win.
Kildare hadn't got the belief in the dying minutes of the Dublin game.
Kildare players are fit, fast and reasonably impressive when driving forward, put not savvy enough to topple Dublin, and certainly not savvy enough to beat Tyrone, who are warming up very nicely indeed.
I'd personally love to see Kildare win, (we'd have a better chance ourselves then), but Harte ,O'Neill and co. are on a mission, that will take serios stopping.

Tyrone will be over-whelming favorites and deserve to be but there will be some interesting match-ups all over the field.
Dermot Early and Sean Cavanagh, two of the best midfielders in the game
Morgan O'Flaherty - Brian Dooher two mobile players who have great engines and great football brains
Alan Smith - McMenamin, one of the most promising forwards against one of the most effective corner backs over the last 10 years
Paidraig O'Neill - Conor Gormley Two big strong footballers with lots of ability
Possibly Chalky White - Joe McMahon
Hugh McGrillen - Eoin Mulligan apart from the Leinster final, Hugh has been our find of the year

Tyrone may have the stronger bench. I believe that the only other previous encounter between the 2 counties in a championship game was in the 1973 All Ireland minor final (or semi - final) and so the lack of familiarity may make this a memorable game particularly if we don't allow Tyrone the start we gave the Dubs

It will take a mountainous effort from every lad in a kildare shirt next sunday from 1-15 to the subs to the selectors to the thousands of lilywhites in croker but bottom line is-the can do it and they will do it !! dethrone the champs from all in mayo

Mikey Conway out for a Kildare on Sunday! - Huge loss to the lilly whites as he has been playing really well at half back for them. Been very attacking

Can see a real dour game on Sunday. As both Tyrone and Kildare will play the blanket Defences making it awful on Tv.I expect Tyrone to win but it wont be a classic.
Except a physical game as well. As Kieran McGeeney will have them will pumped up for this.

Mikey Conway is a massive loss for us, especially as a match against Tyrone would suit him very well. He thrives in open games.

Tyrone havent gotten out of 2nd gear this year but the question remains when pushed will they be able to? No doubt they've risen to challenges in great style in the past but every year is different. They've a lot of guys there quiet a while with a lot of miles on the clock. Kildare are going to hit them with everything and fancy us to win by 1-2 points. We'd 9 different scorers last Saturday scrored most from play and have racked up huge scores all championship. This really has the potential to be the best game of the year because of the way both we and Tyrone play. Just another thing on the 14 men against Dublin thing. Ger Breennan wasn't performing to standard on the day and was being cleaned out and the best thing that happened to Dublin was him getting sent off as Cullen played brilliant. 15 v 14 isnt a huge advantage in football patrticularily for Kildare as a lack of experince meant we spent way too much time trying to find the extra man rather than getting the ball in to our forward line where we were killing Dublin. Lesson learned.

kildare are one hell of a footballing side, make no mistake about that.
they will put it up to tyrone all over the pitch, maybe just a shame to meet @ this stage,
in my opinion, along with dublin, the three most exciting sides to watch, gaelic football as we want to see it.

Have a sneaky feeling we will see THE upset of the championship so far in this game..we havent a hope...according to those in the know!!!
time will tell, but i believe kildare Will Win!!!

PS. if it was the dubs against tyrone, surely the dubs would be given a much greater of beating them??and afterall were we not level with them with 3 minutes to go???
We are not as far away as some people think !!

Cill dara Abu!
