Don't think it matters what strip each team wears, It will be an all round red and white semi-final in any case

I agree with your predictions colin. This is a very intriguing tie as their is no championship history between these two counties, it could be a classic, but I do believe that Tyrone experience at this stage will be the advantage.

Dub1, what is the basis of your theory? Do you honestly believe that a team that couldn't beat a 14 man Dublin team will beat a team that has cantered through the championship thus far and absolutely savaged your idols last year on their home patch? or is it just anti-tyrone drivel

Tie of the round? You must be kidding! Dublin v Kerry will be a far more exciting match. Kerry are a wounded animal and Dublin are possibly over-rated so it'll be extremely exciting. On the other hand, Tyrone should have way too much class and experience for Kildare. Sure, they have made great progress this year and I commend them for that. This is as far as it goes though

I actually think Kildare are going to do it. It comes in as Tyrone are getting all the plaudits and Im thinking the Armagh Messiah could do it

Sorry Kildare supporters but it would be a huge shock if you overturned Tyrone at this stage. You were lucky enough to beat Wicklow by the margin you did today. Tyrone will not miss so many goal chances and also they might not even need them with the point scoring options they have. Hope I'm wrong and the game is a cracker...Kildare always put in a good performance in Croker and I'm sure McGeeney has learned a few things from the tactics Antrim used against them.

Kildare should be the team to change to away kit as Tyrone won their province.
Tyrone to win anyways.

Can see a repeat performance by Tyrone in the QF. Don't need to play well to beat a team that can't beat 14 men and struggled to beat Wicklow. As for the others, can't see provincial winners being beaten, of course depends on what Kerry team shows up, will probably be the closest match either way and definetly the tie of the round though..

I think the Kildare Tyrone match will be closer than expected but i can't see us beating them, to be honest i can't see anyone beating them this year.
Tyrone are a different class. I do think it'll be a good match and not as one sided as everyone expects.
if we managed to end within 5 or 6 points of them i'd be happy.
as for kerry and dublin, it'll be interesting but i think too much emphasis is put on these two teams.
Kerry aren't playing well this year at all and i can't see dublin as all ireland contenders. i do think they'll beat kerry though.
cork and donegal should be another interesting clash.
if croke park's not ready where do you think these matches will be?

Tyrone should win this game - player for player, but it would gave that Armagh management team no better fillet than to come against us. He'll have Kildare totally pumped for this one.
Tyrone by two

Tyrone by a cricket score, I said in numerous posts that Kildare are overrated and they were lucky to beat Wicklow

Barney, you're banging that drum a long time now but it's hardly the bravest point of view to have. Unless Kildare win the All-Ireland, you're going to come on here and say how right you have been all along. You have been predicting our demise on several threads this year but Kildare are still standing (for another week anyway!).

By the end of the year, 31 counties will have failed. So that probably makes you Nostradamus, right?

Sound like sour grapes from the Laois man, since Kildare gave them an awful beating in Tullamore.

Kildare didnt play great against Wicklow Saturday evening, but they never looked like losing. Whenever Wicklow got back level, Kildare stepped it up and moved away again.

After saying that I would be very surprised if Kildare beat Tyrone.
