Ye need to watch some all ireland gold and then you'll see dirty well i'd call it tough. I've nothing against girls Redfoot I'm just saying stop being so hormonal and sensitive about how Kilkenny play. I know for one, i'd rather have every county come and play at the same standard as Kilkenny than Cork or any other county in Ireland. You want to see dirty, go watch a Senior Club Hurling match in London where the boys that play for London get killed in every game and the refs are too stupid and blind to see anything.

Who on this site can tell me when a rough breaks out in a game of hurling you don't get excited and starting roaring at your team to join in, or when the balls thrown in to start the game and there's 4 players in the middle of the field pulling like mad not even knowing where the ball is and you don't shout "a boy Lyng pull on it" or whoever.
That's hurling lads, and that's why we love it, that physicality is not anger, it's passion, it's pride, it's the jersey, you'll die for the man beside you, behind you and in front of you, you'll do anythin to get that ball off your opponent and ye can say all the things ye want about Kilkenny but at the end of the day if I was a Kilkenny hurler and I was sitting at home with 5 or 6 all irelands, Leinsters and Leagues, I don't think i'd care about what people on the sunday game or any where else thought.

The Liam McCarthy Cup doesn't have dirtiest team in ireland 06, 07 , 08, on it, it says Kilkenny. History doesn't remember losers, the roll of honour won't say

Kilkenny 2006 (Cork were surprised by how dirty Kilkenny were)
Kilkenny 2007 (Match was over after ten minutes but Hickey chopped down on a lads hand)
Kilkenny 2008 (If Tommy Walsh wasn't filthy that day Waterford wouldn't of lost by 30 points)

I think I'm made my point.

Should we hurl according to the rules, or make up our own rules?
When someone is soloing with the ball the only legit thing you can do
is a shoulder or attempt to flick the ball off his stick, thats it, anything else is a foul thats in the rule book black and white.

And theres nothing manly about hacking someone with the heel of a hurley. Cowardly I'd call it.

But anyway, lets call a truce your last post was a good one.

Also, I think I was harsh on Monaghan.

pulling and dragging. I hate that phrase. It should be banned from this forum. It should be rebranded as hawling and tugging.

This kilkenny thing is getting a little boring!!Call them dirty if you want i don't think they are. When was the last time you saw a kilkenny man get the line for a wild pull or something along those lines??They are certainly the most aggressive, but a lot of people on here don't talk a whole lot about the fact that they are head and shoulders above everyone in all aspects of the game.just my opinion
