Its pretty obvious that he took the bait. Nice one,

You're spot on Mugsy

Technically Mugsy we do not know whether or not he took the bait. He may have spotted the fish hook and decided that it would be unwise to further endanger his health. Obviously you did not catch the intended play on words. Must be a culcie thing :)

It would take a sour Corkman to create a post like this. Kilkenny are a physical team not a dirty team, stop being a bunch of girls are rise to their standard. It's a contact sport, what do you want to see lads rolling around on the field like Premiership players? Are you trying to say the good Clare and Wexford teams of the 90's had lovely skillful hurlers..........me ****. Name a Kilkenny player or even a time when Kilkenny have gone out to take a man out. You can't because they have the best of both. Waterford tried to rough it up with Kilkenny in the All Ireland and Tipp tried it too in the League final, one thing that Cody has introduced is big strong men who can hurl aswel. Football is a hands on sport, you can't win position without hitting a lad hard. I for one was embarrassed the time the Aussies made us look like girls in the international rules so maybe all teams should toughen up.

I agree with you on virtually all counts there Buster, however I would suggest Tommy Walsh sails close to the wind quite often but overall you are right

Buster66 disagree with you on the points with Waterford & Tipperary trying to rough it up.Maybe just Waterford at the start which was over excitment & very unlike Waterford.I was suprised at that. There were giving Kilkenny a taste of their own actions on how they beat teams..Kilkenny are not dirty but physical team but if you put it upto them they can get over physical as do all teams even at club level.A lad hits you a hard shoulder & you get knocked but you dont just stand there & let him win the battle.Next ball you give him one if you can.Part & Parcel of the game. The league final was good because we matched KK pound for pound. It was a real game of hurling.Hopefully another one in September if both teams are lucky enough.Kilkenny have won some games handy by sheer physicality winning the 50/50s.I never would think KK are dirty they just have a good manager who knows how to keep the team within the physical rules others may disagree but since Cody has taken over KK have never got out muscled.Offaly & Wexford had the better of them for 5 or 6 years but then bang a new KK under Cody.

judging on recent matches i would have to say galway i think though its more to do with lazy tackling although bergin kicking someone in the face and nicky joyce's awful tackle. But the point is every team has the ability to be dirty on occassions cos they have to be its how u win matches nice guys finish last. I for one would rather be all ireland champions and be known as the dirtiest team for eternity than be nicey nice and have nothing only final defeats to show for it oh i wonder which county im thinking of????????

In the 70s, 80s and 90s Kilkenny were always seen as a skilful but a bit of a soft touch. John Power used have to fight for all teh fowards and take all teh stick. Cody has instilled a physicalness in this team that is unreal but you only have to go and watch their training and you will see that they are just as tough in those with each other. Kilkenny have not had a player sent off in the championship in years. Waterford tried to kick lumps out of them before the match only for it to backfire. Tipp also tried the physical stuff. And nobody in KK complained. Kilkenny are physical but no tough. Ther is so omuchsour grapes from certain quarters about this great KK team. The grass not being cut giving them an all-ireland; no competition in leinster; easy routes to the final. Well lets hope they are maoning again in September.

As for a dirty gaelic team, not sure but we got to remember that we are playing physical sports. I 'd prefer to see teh toughness of GAA players to the fannying about of the soccer players.

With out a doubt it has to be TYRONE. I can say this because I have absolutely no evidence to offer at all. But no let me think it is in fact CARLOW I have never seen them play but when no evidence is required for an opinion it is OK to label anyone.

Its not dirty, its doing everything they can to win the game and it works doesnt it, as i repeated before, the others try to follow their lead(tyrone and kilkenny) but they do it completely different.Tell me this, how many kilkenny and tyrone players have seen red thsi year between them in championship?? 1 is it, but every year in that case, they dont get caught because they are too cute.

Monaghan were involved in 1 dirty game this year and one really bad game. In the Derry game, Monaghan had no one sent off Derry had one, Monaghan had 4 yellow cards Derry had 7, Monaghan had 1 player cited after the game Derry had 2 one of these was for a cowardly act as I've ever seen on a sporting field. Also Monaghan had one player assualted by a Derry fan - what ever happened to that "investigation"? The Armagh game had nothing in it as regards dirty play and nothing in it as reagrds football but that's because it was a high stakes match with everything to lose. I'm not saying that Monaghan are angels but the favourites for both the Hurling and Football this year both are very skilled in the Dark Arts but anyone who mentions this is accused of being a bad loser!

Buster66, I just offered my opinion, and so did every other poster. Its not my fault that most people think kilkenny are a dirty team.
And what have you against girls?
