Who are the dirtiest team?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

deel, you do know that the two you named are also all-ireland champions in their GAA category.Says something doesnt it, but its more competitiveness rather than foul play by the big two(tyrone/kilkenny), the rest try to follow their path but perceive in a completely different way.Tyrone do what they can do to win by stopping opposition from taking quick frees, doing everything to stop their top marksman from scoring etc. thats the sign of a top side and likewise for kilkenny in hurling.

Brian Cassidy likes his team to be hard hitting so i'd say Derry in football. In hurling Kilkenny

GGGGGGGGGGG: But Westmeath beat Wicklow who beat half of Ulster so in that case how would they be beaten by Ulster temas by more than 30 points???

JuanVeron Dont mind him. He's still deluded & convinced monaghan are a force in the all ireland. Only for kerry gave them a cuple of days in the spotlight in the last couple of year they wouldnt even been mentioned. Pure drivel from him.

Tyrone have this in spades now but I remember going to the slaughter of the innocents in Croke Park in 1996 when an undoubtedly more talented Tyrone team were beat back up the M1 by Meath. Wouldn't happen now.

HA, now now, spit out those sour grapes and as for it not happening again, it did happen again, rememeber 2007 by any chance? Look i have no problem with Tyrone or your supporters but don't be coming on here like a bold child pointing fingers cause you got beaten by a better team.

As for the dirtiest team now in my opinion that dishonour goes to Monaghan, they seems to love pulling and dragging.

Deel, when is the last time you watched Tyrone play live?? How would you know what goes on off the ball. The games is physical and thats part of why we watch it.

Diving is still the greatest blight on the game and we all know who perfected that

Htaem, its not sour grapes, I did not mean the statement in that way altough in that game in 1996 Tyrone were going comfortably until Canavan was virtually cut in half, and Dooher almost decpaitated. In relation to 2007 the better team won. My point was not so much about Meaths physicality but more with Tyrone now being prepared to deal with it. I believe that the game should be physical and that our games would not be what they are without it. I was simply making the point to Deel that you have to be prepared to give and take in relation to physicality to be successful.

I keep saying diving is a greater blight on the game and we know where that started

Ok fair point, maybe i jumped the gun a little bit there. Tell you truth if Meath do manage to stumble over Limerick i wouldn't fancy drawing Tyrone again because they look in far better shape this year than they did against us in 2007.

I was once at a club game circa 1994 where a team sporting all white colours where in embroiled in battle on a very muddy pitch. At the end of the game I thought they must be the most filthy players I have ever seen.

362699 Excuse my ignorance Derryman but to whom are you referring

I will give you some clues. 1. They play in red and white
2. They are the reigning champions
3. One of their number was voted player of the year in the not too distant past.
4. Their manager is probably the best in the business

Feel free to Guess

Of course its all opinion, there is no barometer to measure this. Thats why I said "MY opinion is"

If it was last summer then I would have said Kerry no question. But this year all of Monaghans games left a bad taste in my mouth.

As for kilkenny, going on a solo run against them and youre liable to lose your head!
