Stay on Micko.

I'd say Micko after 3 years with WW is not committing until he sees what other offers may come his way - Westmeath is a county that comes to mind, who knows what the Kildare mgt team will do now that Armagh is vacant, Louth will be in the market also. Dublin wouldnt have him, they only use their own. Watch this space ... a long drawn out will he wont he - i'd say his stock has risen after wicklows exploits this year. If he goes though lock up your players !!

Bandwagon I have news for you - he has signed his transfer form to return to Fenagh (awaiting clearance at next Leinster council meeting) but, and this is where it gets funny, he is entitled to remain with ye on the basis of the residence that he, ahem, once had in your county. I hope he doesn't follow up with an inter county transfer - he's not wanted down here anymore - yer welcome to him.

With Walsh seemingly gone back to our colourful neighbours it would seem to me that this makes it a good bit less likely that Micko will return given that he pinned so much importance of getting him back for this years championship and seeing as he obviously thinks very little of those outside of his first 15.

If hes already down Walsh he could reckon this year was as good as it gets here and will make his excuses.

I just wish to would make a firm decision one way or the other now, why are we left hanging til october. Who does that suit only Micko himself. Co board should demand a decision by end of this month.

and now the Galway Co Board have been in touch with him .He feels he has taken Wicklow as far as he can and
is looking for a new challenge He loves the people of Wicklow and had a good time there and it kills him to walk
away i chat with Micko on a regular basic we have been close friends since my playing days

Now Now Onionhead,
that's not really very nice, and not really true either. Like most true Carlovians I will be delighted to see Thomas pull on the county jersey if he chooses to do so.
I hope Wicklow and Carlow will get back to the harmonious state that has always existed between us, that really would be so nice, wouldn't it Onionhead?

Now now 1944, all in Carlow know that you are an imposter i.e. you are not actually the real 1944 - you stole his name when registration on this site commenced last year. You were outed a long time ago given the content of your posts of "our" message board which revealed that you are actually a Wicklow fan. I know you probably wish you were from Carlow but this carry on of yours is a bit ridiculous at this stage.

I'm not real1944 I'm 1944 Onionhead, but let's not bandy words over such trifles.
I do hope my vegetable friend that you will have a change of heart and support Thomas
when he returns to don our couny colours, not that anyone else will mind you understand,
but purely for the sake of you own mental wellbeing

If Walshe stays for another year that'sup to him, either way I don't think he should be berated about it, people like Onionhead are not representative (thankfully) of true Carlovians, most of who can see the bigger picture and the reasons why he left Carlow.
I hope Wicklow have another good year in 2010 and hope that we in Carlow can make some progress as well, Wicklow are an inspiration to teams like Carlow
